Brandan Wright came off the bench for 19 points, six rebounds and four blocks on 8-of-10 shooting in 29 minutes on Saturday.
If you throw out Wright's four-point dud from last Wednesday, he's averaging 17 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in three of his last four games. He also looks like the center of choice for Rick Carlisle, making him worth a close look by any owner in need of a center.

Brandan Wright fell in line with preseason expectations in Friday's overtime loss, scoring 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting with six rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes off the bench.
Meanwhile, DeJuan Blair went for just four and four with a steal in 21 minutes and Samuel Dalembert saw just six minutes. Wright has been on fantasy radars even while hurt with his blend of moderate rebounds and scoring, efficiency shooting the ball, low turnovers, and of course the blocks. He should be owned in all standard formats at this time.

Brandan Wright blocked three shots in 13 minutes against the Grizzlies on Wednesday to go with four points and two boards.
Coach Rick Carlisle praised Wright after the game and called him an "extra weapon." This certainly wasn't the line his owners wanted after a 19-point explosion on Saturday, but the block total is where his value will lie for fantasy owners. There shouldn't be any hasty decisions made on Wright even after a bit of a letdown.

In a recent interview Dirk had nice things to say about teammate Brandan Wright.
"We play well off each other. He's good at the stuff I stink at," said Dirk. "He plays above the rim. On those rolls and little floaters and little hook shots, he's as good as anybody in this league." It's always nice to hear an endorsement of a role player from the teams best player, and these are the type of things Wright owners will want to hear. With Samuel Dalembert putting up dud after dud, and DeJuan Blair being undersized, it's reasonable to think Wright could eventually overtake the starting center position. Despite the logjam, Wright should be owned in all formats for his upside.

Brandan Wright started his season in excellent fashion on Saturday during a 106-93 win over the Bucks, shooting 9-of-10 from the field for 19 points with six boards and one assist in 19 minutes.
He made all five attempts from the field in the first half and really gave the Mavericks a nice interior, athletic presence. While Dirk Nowitzki did not play, almost all of Wright's minutes came at the center spot, so there should still be plenty of stock put into this game. What's more, Samuel Dalembert did not leave the bench. Based on Wright's upside for blocking shots and all the buzz from the preseason, he should be picked up in all standard leagues.

Brandan Wright (shoulder) could make his debut in Saturday's game against the Bucks.
The Mavericks are off Thursday and Friday and it would be a welcomed sight after DeJuan Blair and Samuel Dalembert didn't play well on Wednesday at Golden State. Wright has some terrific upside for his blocks, but there is quite a bit of risk associated with picking him up considering the fluidity at the center position for Dallas.

Brandan Wright (shoulder) will not be ready to return for Wednesday's game vs. the Warriors, according to coach Rick Carlisle.
Owners who have waited this long won't mind another DNP or two, as long as it means Wright is fully healthy when he returns. DeJuan Blair's ascension to the starting lineup complicates B-Wright's outlook, however, as initially he'll be battling Samuel Dalembert for backup minutes.
