Hansbrough was drafted fifth overall by the Grand Rapids Drive in the 2014 D-League Draft. Hansbrough participated in Chicago's training camp but ultimately failed to make the regular season roster. He played in 28 games for the Pacers last season but will begin his 2014-15 campaign in the D-League working on improving his game.

Hansbrough was waived by the Bulls on Saturday, the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports. He had a slim chance of making the Bulls, but will try to catch on with a D-League team, most likely.

Hansbrough signed a training camp deal with the Bulls, the Chicago Tribune reports. Hansbrough, known mostly as the brother of Raptors' forward Tyler Hansbrough, was brought in on a camp deal Friday. He played in Spain last season, and the last time he saw NBA action was in 2012 as a part of the Pacers. He's most likely not much more than a camp body, and is on the outside looking in for getting a roster spot post training camp.

Ben Hansbrough will reportedly sign with Gran Canaria in Spain. Hansbrough is no stranger to international basketball, having played in both Germany in Slovenia, and he wasn't drawing any interest as a free agent in the NBA.

Ben Hansbrough is not expected to be waived prior to Monday's deadline. Hansbrough will "stick around" as the Pacers third point guard and will continue to have no fantasy value.

Ben Hansbrough (shoulder) will be the backup point guard on Friday. Clearly, the shoulder injury isn't serious. Although D.J. Augustin played decently in Hansbrough's absence, it'll take more than one good game for him to regain his role as the primary backup to George Hill.

Ben Hansbrough did not play in the second half of Wednesday's game due to a "grade-one" left shoulder sprain. He's considered day-to-day, and could have returned to action if needed. D.J. Augustin could reassume his role as the primary backup point guard in Hansbrough's absence, but nothing has been decided yet.

Frank Vogel said that Ben Hansbrough overtaking D.J. Augustin as the primary backup point guard is a "short term" move. Vogel did leave the door open for Hansbrough to keep the role if he plays well, but the coach is looking for a spark in the second unit more than anything else. "Our bench as an unit has been struggling," he said. More shakeups could happen on the Pacers bench, but it's not going to impact those in standard formats.

Ben Hansbrough will replace D.J. Augustin as the Pacers' primary backup PG. Augustin has done nothing to deserve the playing time, unfortunately, and Frank Vogel is desperate to find a spark off the bench. It's an interesting development but won't have fantasy ramifications outside of the deepest leagues.
