Morrow signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the Trail Blazers on Friday, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports.
EDGE Analysis
After splitting last season between Oklahoma City and Chicago, Morrow remained unsigned into September, but he'll now head to Portland, where he'll look to crack the final roster out of camp. The soon-to-be-32-year-old is essentially a three-point specialist at this point, though he struggled in that regard last season, converting just 30.8 percent of his looks from beyond the arc.

Morrow finished with two points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds across 21 minutes during Thursday's 102-90 victory over the 76ers.
EDGE Analysis
Though he's collected 14 DNP-CDs since being traded to the Bulls just before the deadline, Morrow has played a combined 40 minutes over the past two games, totaling 17 points on 4-of-14 shooting. It's unclear exactly why coach Fred Hoiberg has decided to give Morrow extra run considering that the Bulls haven't taken on any new injuries other than Rajon Rondo (wrist) missing Thursday's game -- though he plays point guard while Morrow plays shooting guard and small forward. The situation could be worth monitoring, as Morrow is a historically impressive three-point shooter, knocking down 41.6 percent of his attempts from long range for his career.

Morrow will be in uniform but will not take the floor during Friday's game against the Suns, Nick Friedell of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Fred Hoiberg apparently wants Morrow to take some time to get acclimated to his new situation after being traded and he will not take the floor Friday for the Bulls. His role in the offense has yet to be determined, but he should be able to be a three-point option for the Bulls, despite hitting an uncharacteristically low 29.4 percent from long distance this season.

Morrow has been traded to the Bulls along with Cameron Payne and Joffrey Lauvergne in exchange for Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Morrow was part of a package that was centered around Cameron Payne, but he should still provide some value for Chicago, especially with Doug McDermott now in Oklahoma City. That being said, Morrow is struggling this season, averaging only 5.8 points per game and shooting a lousy 29.4-percent from three, which is uncharacteristic given his 41.7-percent career average. Nevertheless, he should have an opportunity to work himself into the Bulls' rotation, especially if he can improve his three-point stroke.

Morrow logged 11 points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two steals and one rebound across 30 minutes in a 108-94 loss to the Spurs on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
With Alex Abrines missing the game with back spasms and starting small forward Andre Roberson not giving the Thunder much offense early on, Morrow appeared for just the fourth time since the beginning of 2017 and picked up a huge workload off the bench. Unfortunately for Morrow, he didn't live up to his reputation as a sharpshooter, so if Abrines' absence proves to be only a short-term issue, Morrow could be headed back to the end of the bench before long.

Morrow (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in a 109-94 win over the Bulls on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
After a seven-game run as the team's starting shooting guard, Morrow moved back to the bench Dec. 31 when Victor Oladipo returned from a wrist injury. While it wasn't unexpected that Morrow has seen his minutes tail off upon moving back to the bench, it's been more surprising that he's been passed up on the depth chart by rookie Alex Abrines, who has settled in as the primary backup to Oladipo. Abrines' emergence has resulted in Morrow dropping out of the rotation entirely for four of the past five games, and the veteran may not reclaim playing time until Abrines' three-point shooting shooting tails off. Abrines has done well to maintain his spot in the rotation by going 6-of-16 (37.5%) from distance over the past five contests.

Morrow started Saturday during a 114-101 victory over the Suns and scored 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt) and had two steals across 21 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
Victor Oladipo (wrist) missed his third consecutive game and Morrow started for him Saturday after Jerami Grant had started the previous two games. Morrow, who gives the Thunder desperately needed three-point shooting, is seeing his playing time continue to trend in the right direction. He is playing 25.3 minutes per game so far in December after he averaged 13.3 minutes per game in November. Even when Oladipo returns, Morrow will likely continue to see at least 20 minutes per game.

Morrow will get the start at shooting guard Saturday against the Suns, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Thunder will mix things up Saturday, inserting Morrow at shooting guard, while Jerami Grant moves to the bench, as was the case to begin the second half of Wednesday's loss to the Jazz. Of course, neither player is a regular starter, but the Thunder will again be without the services of Victor Oladipo (wrist) on Saturday.

Morrow finished with three points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and two rebounds across 28 minutes in Wednesday's 109-89 loss to the Jazz.
EDGE Analysis
Despite surpassing 25 minutes for the sixth time in seven games, Morrow was mostly a non-entity during his time on the court, and the sharpshooter has now gone just 1-of-11 from three-point range over his last three contests. Still, it's worth noting that Morrow started the second half over Jerami Grant, so it's possible that Morrow could enter the lineup Saturday against the Suns if Victor Oladipo (wrist) remains out for a third straight contest.

Morrow poured in 15 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go with two rebounds and one steal across 26 minutes in Monday's 102-99 win over the Hawks.
EDGE Analysis
Morrow has put forth four double-digit scoring outings in his last six games, with his prowess from three-point land keying those efforts. The sharpshooter has knocked down 14 total triples during that span while hitting them at a 45.2 percent clip. Until he falls into a prolonged slump, Morrow should be secure in his role as the Thunder's top three-point specialist.
