Nuggets waived G Anthony Carter and G Ben Uzoh. The move leaves the Nuggets with just two healthy PGs on the roster in Ty Lawson and Andre Miller as Julyan Stone is recovering from hip surgery.

Anthony Carter worked out with the Bobcats on Wednesday. This is not an indication that the Bobcats are necessarily interested, but Carter played for the Nuggets when new coach Mike Dunlap was an assistant in Denver. Carter played in 24 games for the Raptors last season.

Anthony Carter said he wants to continue his playing career. Carter has a standing offer from George Karl to become an assistant coach in Denver when he's ready to walk away, but Carter said he can "still help a team." Carter's agent, Bill Duffy, is still "searching for interested teams," which illustrates the level of interest in Carter's services right now.

The Rockets have "reached out" to Anthony Carter's agent about signing his client. Team beat writer Jonathan Feigen believes it could be a sign that the Rockets are interested in buyout out Derek Fisher's contract. Carter is highly unlikely to accrue fantasy value regardless of where he lands.

Sam Amick is reporting that the Raptors are also expected to PG Anthony Carter to the Pacers in the Leandro Barbosa deal. Carter is a veteran point guard that would make the Pacers better in reality, but with Darren Collison, George Hill, A.J. Price and Lance Stephenson around, probably won't get many opportunities to play.

The Toronto Raptors have decided to "cut ties" with Anthony Carter. In other words, Carter has been released. The veteran had not appeared in Toronto's last three games and was averaging just 2.0 points and 1.4 assists this season.

Anthony Carter, who had been averaging just over eight minutes per game in 20 games this season, played a season-high 21 minutes on Wednesday, and responded with 10 points, six assists and five rebounds. Dwane Casey strikes again. Carter was solid tonight, but don't expect tonight's line to become a trend. He has no fantasy value.
