Anthony Bennett looked terrific during Sunday's win over the Spurs, scoring 13 points with 14 rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 31 minutes of action. Bennett looked confident handling the ball, he made a few nice passes, and he shot the ball with a confidence that was conspicuously absent during his awful rookie season. His improved physique and conditioning are visible and he's poised to have a bounce-back season with the spotlight trained on Cleveland's other three other No. 1 picks (LeBron, Kyrie and Andrew Wiggins).

Anthony Bennett played 31 minutes vs. the Bucks on Friday, scoring 15 points with seven boards, two steals, two turnovers, one 3-pointer, two steals and eight fouls. He looked focused before the game started and it was easy to tell he wanted to have a great game today. Bennett was even getting up and down the court in fast-break and wasn't lagging on either end. Plus, he was much better on the perimeter. Although, at times he did look like his conditioning wasn't quite up to par. He still has a lot of work to do.

Anthony Bennett, last year's No. 1 pick in the draft, is reportedly in great shape and has been working hard all summer. After last season's rookie disaster, he'll need to be in great shape and turn things around if he's going to make an impact this season. There's a reason he was taken at No. 1 last year, but he's yet to put it on display. Maybe he'll be ready to roll this season.

Andrew Wiggins said he'd love to play with fellow Canadians Anthony Bennett and Tristan Thompson. "The chemistry is already there," Wiggins said. Not many people probably want to play with Bennett based on how he played last year. He couldn't get his rookie year off the ground and had nine scoreless games while showing very little offensive promise. He'll get a chance to get it going in Las Vegas Summer League at his college home court at UNLV.

Anthony Bennett received one All-Rookie Second Team vote on Thursday. The vote came from the New York Daily News' Mitch Lawrence, who actually broke the news of the Jazz parting ways with Ty Corbin last month. Lawrence also was the only person to vote for Andre Roberson on his second team, so his ballot was a bit odd. Bennett has a heck of a lot of work to do to redeem himself and his first chance in the spotlight will be at summer league.

Anthony Bennett had his tonsils removed on Tuesday, but hopes to be ready for Summer League. He missed last summer after shoulder surgery, but it sounds like he'll be able to go this July, even though today's procedure was considered a surgery.

Anthony Bennett (knee) is available to play vs. the Nets on Wednesday. His rookie season has been a disaster, but at least he'll get one more chance to show what he can do. His fitness will likely be a problem for much of his career and the deck is stacked against him to have a breakout year.

Anthony Bennett (strained left patellar tendon) went through Tuesday's contact practice and may be available to play on Wednesday. It would be a token victory for the Cavs if Bennett could suit up, but nothing can dilute the misery of his rookie season. The No. 1 overall pick has appeared in 51 games, averaging 4.1 points on 35.2 percent shooting, with exactly as many turnovers (46) as combined assists (17), steals (21) and blocks (eight). There is little doubt that he'll play for the Cavs' Summer League team.

Anthony Bennett (strained patellar tendon) didn't practice on Tuesday. He has returned from Toronto, where he was dealing with a family issue, but it does not seem likely that he'll play again this season. He's averaged a mere 4.1 points on 35.2 percent shooting since being drafted No. 1 overall last summer.
