The move isn't too surprising considering the last time Rautins saw NBA action was a five-game stint with the Knicks back in 2010-11. While a good three-point shooter -- 2.8 made threes per game at 40.7 percent during his senior year at Syracuse -- the other aspects of his game seemingly weren't up to par.

Rautins has signed with Pallacanestro Varese of Serie A, Sportando reports. Last season, Rautins started all 15 of his appearances for his previous squad, Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt, putting up 17.6 points (on 43.8 percent shooting), 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3.3 treys, and 0.9 steals in 34 minutes per game. Additionally, the 27-year-old boasted stellar ability from beyond the arc, knocking down over 42 percent of his threes.

Updating a previous item, the Thunder have signed G Andy Rautins. Rautins had a cup of coffee with Knicks in 2010 and was traded to the Mavericks in the Tyson Chandler deal last season, although he never suited up for Dallas before they waived him. Rautins can shoot lights out, but is only expected to be a training camp body for the Thunder.
