Nembhard was great in the victory, delivering his best performance in quite a while. It's been a bit of a roller coaster for Nembhard so far this season. Early on, he soared into the 12-team discussion with some big performances, only to fall by the wayside thanks to a prolonged stretch of mediocrity. Through it all, he has maintained a steady role as a member of the starting lineup, meaning he should at least be someone managers are keeping an eye on moving forward -- especially if the Pacers were to move Buddy Hield before the deadline.

The rookie looked good early after being re-inserted into the starting lineup at the end of November and popped for 31 points against the Warriors on Dec. 5. But since then, Nembhard's contributions have dwindled and he's scored in single digits in seven of the last eight games, averaging just 7.3 points, 3.4 boards, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals over that stretch. The Pacers seem to prefer having Bennedict Mathurin anchor their second-unit scoring, but with Chris Duarte now healthy, Nembhard may have to pick up the pace to keep his spot in the starting five.

Nembhard was noticeably quiet on the offensive end in the loss, although he was able to somewhat salvage his night with seven assists. Since his explosion earlier in the week, things have plateaued for Nembhard. With that said, his minutes appear locked in for now. The production will be a bit up and down, as we have seen recently, but he remains a viable asset across standard formats.

Nembhard fouled out of Friday's 121-111 victory over Washington after recording three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard failed to make an impact Friday, logging his worst scoring performance since Oct. 31 of any game he finished. With Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner back from injury, there certainly will be less usage to go around for Nembhard. However, he can be expected to perform better than he did Friday going forward.

Nembhard couldn't repeat his heroics from the last game, delivering a much more subdued performance. While managers are likely to be disappointed, the fact he still played 32 minutes bodes well for his immediate future. He obviously isn't going to be as productive when both Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton are back in the lineup. However, as long as the minutes are there, he should remain a viable 12-team asset moving forward.

Nembhard registered 31 points (13-21 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 112-104 victory over Golden State.

EDGE Analysis

The 2022 second-round pick was on fire Monday and was also effective as a ball distributor, netting a season-high 13 assists. His production uptick is directly tied to Tyrese Haliburton's (groin) absence, so while we should see encouraging stat lines for Nembhard in relief, his numbers will drop back to earth when Haliburton returns, which should be sometime this week.

Nembhard contributed 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight assists, six rebounds and one steal over 37 minutes during Sunday's 116-100 loss to the Trail Blazers.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard had started on the wing in the Pacers' previous two games, but he moved over to point guard Sunday in place of Tyrese Haliburton (groin), who is set to remain out through Monday's game at Golden State. Though the Pacers were on the losing end of the front end of the back-to-back set, Nembhard excelled as a distributor and shot efficiently from the field. Nembhard should be a valuable streaming option while Haliburton is out, though he could lose out on some ball-handling responsibilities if T.J. McConnell (illness) is able to return for Monday's contest.

Nembhard amassed 13 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Friday's 139-119 loss to the Jazz.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard played a career-high 35 minutes in the loss and converted the substantial court time to his first NBA double-double. He led Indiana with 10 assists, easily exceeding his previous season-best mark in that category (six against Miami on Nov. 4). Nembhard hasn't quite reached must-roster status in fantasy, but he's enjoying a strong rookie campaign and should be monitored to see if he can build upon Friday's big performance.
