Nembhard continues to garner an expanded offensive role with Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) sidelined. The rookie second-round pick posted his highest scoring outing since Dec. 5, when he scored a season-high 31 points (13-21 FG) in a win over Golden State and finished with at least 15 points and five assists for a third consecutive game. During that stretch, he's averaged 19.3 points and 6.7 assists with 44/39/64 shooting splits.

The Pacers came into the game missing multiple bodies in the backcourt and saw Chris Duarte (ankle) exit early, leaving Nembhard as almost the last guard standing. The rookie's added responsibilities have led him to score at least 14 points in three straight games while dishing 16 total assists, and as long as Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) are sidelined, Nembhard will have a great deal of DFS appeal.

Nembhard finished Saturday's 121-115 win over the Pistons with 19 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight assists and three rebounds across 33 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Though he struggled to find his shooting touch Saturday, Nembhard thrived as the Pacers' lead playmaker in the absences of Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and T.J. McConnell (back). The eight assists were Nembhard's most since Feb. 10, and he turned the ball over just twice despite taking on a 23.4 percent usage rate. With head coach Rick Carlisle already ruling out Haliburton and McConnell for Monday's rematch with Detroit, Nembhard should make for a strong streaming option for assists and to a lesser degree, steals, for at least one more game.

Nembhard recorded 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and two steals across 26 minutes during Thursday's 134-125 overtime win over the Rockets.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard had his best game in almost two months, scoring double digits for just the second time in his past 11 games. After busting out in early December, Nembhard has struggled to produce at a consistent level despite retaining a spot in the starting lineup. He is well outside the top 250 over the past month, making him an afterthought in most fantasy formats.

Nembhard is starting Thursday against the Celtics, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard came off the bench during the Pacers' final game before the All-Star break, but he'll return to the starting lineup Thursday. Over his last 10 appearances (seven starts), he's averaged 6.6 points and 4.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game.

Nembhard started in his last seven appearances but came off the bench Wednesday while T.J. McConnell drew the start alongside Tyrese Haliburton. Nembhard's role didn't decrease significantly, and he was efficient from the floor in the narrow win. It's unclear whether Nembhard or McConnell will start following the All-Star break, but Wednesday's performance showed that Nembhard's starting status is unlikely to significantly impact his fantasy value.

EDGE Analysis

Coach Rick Carlisle has seemed to be searching for a working lineup all season, and he'll give T.J. McConnell and Tyrese Haliburton a chance to start together during the Pacers' final game before the All-Star break. Nembhard's shooting has been an issue this month, with the guard converting just 37.8 percent of his shots from the field, 31.3 percent of his threes and 66.7 percent of his free throws. In 11 appearances off the bench, he's averaged 6.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 19.5 minutes.

Nembhard closed with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Saturday's 127-113 loss to the Wizards.

EDGE Analysis

Nembhard disappointed again in the loss, continuing what has been an ordinary month. Over that time he is outside the top 300 in standard formats, despite playing upwards of 27 minutes per night. While he did manage to pop up on the 12-team radar earlier in the season, managers can safely ignore him in all formats moving forward.
