Johnson did not play during Sunday's 128-114 loss to Fort Wayne because of personal reasons.

It is unclear how long personal reasons will continue to affect Johnson's availability. Currently, his first opportunity to return is when the Herd host Grand Rapids on Wednesday.

Johnson logged four points (2-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block across 35 minutes during the Herd's 120-106 win against Salt Lake City on Tuesday.

Johnson was one assist short of logging a double-double, but not in the way that would normally be expected. He recorded the other 10-plus tally with rebounds instead of points scored. Johnson was the preferred backcourt partner to Lindell Wigginton, which could continue if Iverson Molinar remains out, like he was Tuesday via coach's decision.

Johnson logged 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 19 rebounds, 10 assists and one block across 35 minutes during the Herd's 123-122 win at Texas on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Johnson was demoted to substitute with the return of Iverson Molinar (hip). Yet, he was their best player as they logged a much-needed win. While expected to be part of the Herd's starting lineup again, Johnson will be valuable regardless of what role he serves.

Johnson logged 31 points (14-17 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds and five assists across 37 minutes during the Herd's 141-130 win over Capital City on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Johnson had his sixth consecutive double-double. He is expected to continue being Wisconsin's best option unless the team receives Sandro Mamukelashvili from its NBA affiliate, which happens occasionally but not for an extended period before he gets promoted.

Johnson logged 14 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block across 32 minutes during Wisconsin's 122-104 loss to Santa Cruz on Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

Johnson didn't log a triple-double like he did during his previous game, but the center continues to be Wisconsin's most reliable option despite the team's ongoing struggles. He has posted a double-double during each of his five G League games so far.

Johnson logged 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 16 rebounds and 10 assists across 35 minutes during Wisconsin's 144-133 loss to Windy City on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Rob Edwards and AJ Green were Wisconsin's best scorers Friday, but Johnson compensated for that by being the Herd's best rebounder and distributor in spite of their loss. Though unlikely to continue distributing the ball like he did Friday, Johnson would be one of the G League's premium options if able to do so.

Johnson logged 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 FT), 16 rebounds and six assists across 26 minutes during the Herd's 115-111 win against Westchester on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Johnson has logged a double-double during each of his first three games with the Herd. Since he was traded for Brandon Randolph, he has averaged 14.4 points and 11.6 rebounds.

Johnson logged 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds and three assists across 24 minutes during the Herd's 116-102 loss to Greensboro on Saturday.

EDGE Analysis

Johnson and Brandon Randolph swapped G League teams via trade. Like at Austin, Wisconsin's newest member is expected to remain a backup for now. Yet if Johnson continues logging double-doubles, the Herd will have no choice but having him start regularly.
