Davies (7-0) allowed three runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and one walk across five innings to earn a victory against the Pirates on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Pirates were much more patient this time around against Davies, and as a result, Davies yielded three runs in the first three innings. He settled down in the fourth, however, and retired six of the last seven batters he faced. With the victory, Davies became the first pitcher in Brewers history to begin a season 7-0. He also has a 2.41 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 74.2 innings. His next start will be in San Francisco next Saturday.

Davies (6-0) allowed two runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and a walk across eight innings to earn a victory against the Pirates on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers moved Davies up in the rotation Sunday after sending Gio Gonzalez to the injured list with arm fatigue. Milwaukee really needed a long start from Davies too after the 13-inning affair Saturday. Davies obviously delivered, pitching into the ninth inning. He worked around eight hits mostly by holding the Pirates to 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position. With the win, Davies improved to 6-0 with a 2.20 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 45 strikeouts in 69.2 innings. He will face the Pirates again in his next start Saturday.

Davies will now start Sunday against the Pirates, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davies will move up with Gio Gonzalez heading to the injured list with arm fatigue. He'll gain a two-start week this week (though the news comes far too late for fantasy owners in weekly leagues to take advantage of the information) and lose one next week.

Davies didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Twins, scattering five hits and two walks over six scoreless innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Minnesota didn't get a runner past second base against the right-hander, but Davies was matched zero for zero by rookie Devin Smeltzer, and Milwaukee's bullpen faltered after Davies left the game. He now sports a 2.19 ERA and 42:19 K:BB through 61.2 innings, with four quality starts in his last five trips to the mound.

Davies allowed six runs on six hits with two strikeouts and one walk across three innings during a no-decision against the Reds on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old hadn't allowed more than two earned runs in any start this season, so this was quite a shock. Still, he avoided a loss despite spotting the Reds a five-run lead because the Brewers offense came back to tie the game by the end of the fourth. Davies' numbers certainly took a hit, but he's still 5-0 with a 2.43 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 38 strikeouts in 55.2 innings this season. His next start will be Tuesday against the Twins.

Davies allowed three runs (one earned) on four hits with five strikeouts and one walk across six innings to earn a victory against the Phillies on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Jean Segura hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first, and the Phillies added two unearned runs in the third, but the Brewers responded with nine unanswered to help Davies capture his fifth victory. Because two runs were unearned, he continued his streak of allowing two or fewer earned runs in his first nine starts. He only has 36 strikeouts in 52.2 innings, but behind that streak, he is 5-0 with a 1.54 ERA and 1.18 WHIP this season. Davies is scheduled to pitch next Wednesday against the Reds.

Davies allowed one run on six hits with five strikeouts and a walk across 6.1 innings during a no-decision against the Cubs on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old didn't give up back-to-back hits until the fifth inning, but that led to the Cubs tying the game. Davies worked out of a jam in the sixth to keep the score tied, and then when he walked his first batter in the seventh, the Brewers bullpen came on to retire the final two hitters of the frame. Unfortunately the Brewers didn't provide him enough run support to win, but Davies has won four of his last seven starts and has yet to lose one because he hasn't allowed more than two runs in an outing. Davies is 4-0 with a 1.54 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 31 strikeouts in 46.1 innings. He is scheduled to pitch again against at the Phillies on Thursday.

Davies (4-0) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over 7.2 innings Sunday in a win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Davies turned in yet another stellar outing, surrendering a run in the fifth and the seventh before departing with a 3-2 lead. The 26-year-old right-hander has yet to give up more than two runs in an outing this season and sports a 1.56 ERA with 26 punchouts over 40.1 frames. He'll aim to keep it rolling in his next start Saturday against the Cubs.

Davies (3-0) gave up no runs on three hits with three walks while striking out two through 5.1 innings to pick up the win over the Rockies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
While he walked more than he struck out in this outing, he was effective enough to only allow three hits and give the Brewers a chance to win the game. The right-hander has a low K percentage of 17 and a 21:13 K:BB, but continues to out-pitch his 3.93 FIP. He has a sparkling 1.38 ERA through six starts this season. Davies will get his next start Saturday against the Mets.

Davies allowed two earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four across 4.2 innings Tuesday against the Cardinals. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Davies wasn't hit particularly hard -- he allowed only one extra-base hit -- but the Cardinals forced him to work inefficiently by fouling off 19 pitches. Still the outing was far from a disaster and Davies has proven capable at run prevention early on, allowing five earned runs across 27.1 innings of work. He'll look to work deeper in the game in his next outing Sunday at the Mets.
