Rosscup was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup has spent time with three big-league teams this season but failed to impress with any of them. His 5.00 ERA in 18 innings is more mediocre than terrible, but it's come with a 2.28 WHIP and a 20.2 percent walk rate. Casey Sadler was recalled in a corresponding move.

Rosscup had his contract selected from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup signed with the Dodgers earlier in the month after being designated for assignment by Blue Jays. The left-hander owns a 4.50 ERA, 2.19 WHIP and 25:18 K:BB across 16 innings in 21 appearances with Toronto and Seattle this season. Caleb Ferguson was sent to Triple-A while A.J. Pollock (elbow) was shifted to the 60-day IL in a pair of corresponding roster moves.

Rosscup signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers on Wednesday, Oklahoma City Dodgers broadcaster Alex Freedman reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup threw 11.1 innings for the Dodgers back in 2018, posting a 4.76 ERA. He has a similar 4.80 ERA in 15 frames for the Mariners and Blue Jays this season. The lefty owns a strong 33.9 percent strikeout rate over the last two seasons, but that's been paired with a far too high 16.1 percent walk rate.

Rosscup cleared waivers and elected free agency Monday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Previous reports suggested that Rosscup had accepted his outright assignment to the minors, but he's evidently made a different decision. He may still be looking at a minor-league contract for his next opportunity, as his 4.80 ERA in 15 innings this season has come with a 20.8 percent walk rate and a 2.13 WHIP.

The Blue Jays outrighted Rosscup to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup will stick in the organization after going unclaimed off waivers when the Blue Jays designated him for assignment last week. Between big-league stops with Seattle and Toronto this season, Rosscup has posted a 4.80 ERA, 2.13 WHIP and 22:16 K:BB across 15 innings.

Rosscup was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup will hit waivers for the second time in two weeks after allowing four runs (three earned) in one inning of work during his very brief stay in Toronto. Justin Shafer was recalled in a corresponding move.

Rosscup was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
He was designated for assignment by the Mariners last week, but the Blue Jays decided he was a better use of a 40-man roster spot than Jimmy Cordero, whom they designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Rosscup's 3.21 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 14 innings for Seattle look pretty excellent, but he also walked a batter per inning over that stretch.

Rosscup was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Rosscup has posted a 3.21 ERA with 20 punchouts over 14 innings this season, but he'll head to the waiver wire after getting booted from the 40-man roster. Seattle also optioned Erik Swanson to Triple-A Tacoma, while Matt Festa was recalled and Ryan Garton's contract was purchased from the Rainiers.

Rosscup, who allowed an earned run on two hits and a wild pitch while also recording two strikeouts over an inning against the Twins on Thursday, owns a 2-0 record, five holds, a 3.21 ERA and a 1.93 WHIP across 14 innings this season.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw's WHIP leaves plenty to be desired, but Rosscup has largely limited the potential damage from his control issues by yielding just one home run thus far. Prior to May, Rosscup had mostly been used in matchup-based situations that saw him work under an inning in 11 of 14 outings, but he's now logged one full frame in four of his first five trips to the mound during the month.

Rosscup is one of the candidates for save opportunities during Hunter Strickland's (lat) absence, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old southpaw was one of several names rattled off by manager Scott Servais on Saturday when the Mariners skipper was asked about possible ninth-inning replacements during Strickland's time on the injured list. Rosscup has yet to record a save during a five-season major-league career, but he would give Servais a left-handed option in the ninth inning. He's already been busy in the new season, logging two innings across three appearances.
