Buehler didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Pittsburgh, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk over three innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
After needing 78 pitches to get through three frames, Buehler didn't come out for the fourth, marking the 29-year-old's shortest start of 2024. He surrendered a two-run home run to Nick Gonzales in the third inning, the right-hander's seventh long ball allowed in 28.0 innings. Buehler's been shaky since returning from Tommy John surgery, yielding exactly three runs in five of his six starts this season to fuel a 4.82 ERA. He's lined up for a home start against the Rangers on Wednesday.

Buehler (1-3) allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks while striking out seven over six innings, taking the loss Friday versus the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler gave up three runs in the third inning and a solo home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the fourth. While it wasn't a particularly sharp outing for Buehler, the Dodgers supported him with just five hits and two walks. He has two quality starts in five outings since returning from Tommy John surgery. Buehler is at a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB over 25 innings this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Pirates.

Buehler (1-2) took the loss to the Reds on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler didn't have his best stuff in this one, as evidenced by the fact that he induced only six swings and misses on 91 pitches and also served up a pair of solo homers. It was a step backward from his previous outing, but this was just his third start back from Tommy John surgery, and ups and downs are to be expected after the long layoff. The 29-year-old righty will take a 4.26 ERA and 1.21 WHIP into his next start, which lines up for next weekend at home against the Rockies.

Buehler (1-1) earned the win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out seven over six shutout innings while allowing three hits.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler looked like his old self for the first time since returning from the injured list, allowing just one single over the first four innings and one extra-base hit on the night while posting a season-high seven strikeouts. The right-hander hadn't gone more than four innings in either of his previous two starts to open the campaign and had also allowed at least one home run in each of those outings. However, Buehler might have found his groove Saturday, as he managed to get through six frames on just 78 pitches while also allowing just three hits, which marked a season low.

Buehler (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in 3.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
The majority of the damage against Buehler came in the opening frame when Fernando Tatis and Jake Cronenworth smoked back-to-back solo home runs. Buehler would later exit with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth and was charged with an additional run. He struggled with his command in another abbreviated start, throwing 45 of 77 pitches for strikes, and generated only five whiffs. Buehler will carry a 7.36 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 6:2 K:BB over 7.1 innings into a meeting with the Reds.

Buehler allowed three runs on six hits and no walks while striking out four batters over four innings in a no-decision against Miami on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler had a favorable matchup in his first major-league start since mid-June of 2022, as he squared off against the team with the third-worst record in baseball. That didn't seem to matter early, though, as the Marlins jumped on the right-hander for a pair of first-inning runs on a trio of singles. However, Buehler's fastball velocity averaged a solid 96.6 mph in the frame, per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, which foreshadowed him settling down to allow just one more run over the remainder of his outing. Not surprisingly, the 29-year-old wasn't pushed too hard in his return to the majors, as he was pulled after 77 pitches and four frames rather than being allowed to complete the fifth and qualify for the win. Assuming Buehler comes out of the start without any setbacks, Monday's outing will likely serve as a foundation on which he can build up to a higher pitch count moving forward. He's tentatively lined up to make his next start on the road in San Diego this weekend.

Buehler (elbow) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Monday's start against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Buehler will toe the rubber Monday evening in his first MLB action since undergoing Tommy John surgery in August 2022. He cruised through five innings April 30 during his final rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City, surrendering one run while fanning five batters, but even so, expect the club to keep a close eye on the right-hander's pitch count in the series opener.

Buehler (elbow) will start Monday's game against the Marlins, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Monday will mark Buehler's first start on a big-league mound since he underwent Tommy John surgery in August 2022. He made six starts during his minor-league rehab assignment, posting a 4.15 ERA and 1.62 WHIP while striking out 21 batters and walking nine across 21.2 innings. Nearly two years removed from his last major-league start, there is a good chance that the 29-year-old right-hander shows a bit of rust in his first few outings as he gets used to facing MLB hitters again.

Buehler (elbow) tossed five innings in a minor-league rehab appearance with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, allowing one run on seven hits and no walks while striking out five batters.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler tossed 75 pitches in the outing, 11 fewer than he threw in his previous appearance. However, he completed five frames for the first time since beginning his rehab stint March 31. The right-hander's fastball topped out at 94.6 mph, so he's not quite back to the velocity he displayed prior to his Tommy John surgery in August of 2022. Nonetheless, Tuesday's start -- his sixth in the minors this season -- may have been Buehler's final step before rejoining the big-league rotation, as Dodgers manager Dave Roberts suggested prior to the outing that the hurler could make his next appearance with the big club, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic.

Manager Dave Roberts said Friday on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM that Buehler (elbow) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday before potentially joining the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander threw 86 pitches and allowed five runs (three earned) over 4.1 innings Wednesday for Oklahoma City, and the Dodgers don't feel he's quite ready to make his 2024 debut. Buehler's performance in five starts during the rehab assignment has been underwhelming with a 4.86 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 16:9 K:BB over 16.2 innings.
