Buehler (1-6) took the loss against the Rockies on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler struggled early, allowing a leadoff double to Charlie Blackmon to open the game followed by a walk to Ezequiel Tovar. The right-hander allowed one run in the frame, along with two more runs on a Tovar double in the following inning. Buehler did manage to get through five innings for the fourth consecutive start but not before allowing four or more runs for the second time in his last three outings. He now carries a 5.06 ERA in September through four starts, though his nine strikeouts Saturday did mark a season high for the 30-year-old.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over Atlanta, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
The five walks were not ideal for Buehler, who had three walks in the third inning, which contributed to two runs for Atlanta in the frame. Overall, he had one of his better outings of the season. It was his first time since May 31 reaching six innings and his second time over the last six starts allowing fewer than three earned runs. Buehler now owns a 5.54 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 54:26 K:BB in 65 innings and will look to keep the momentum going in his next start against Colorado over the weekend.

Buehler (1-5) took the loss against the Cubs on Monday, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out four batters over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler fell behind 3-0 after one inning and gave up another run in the fourth. He began the sixth inning on the mound but allowed the first two hitters in the frame to reach base and was subsequently pulled. The right-hander has struggled since returning Aug. 14 from a nearly two-month stint on the injured list, posting a 6.14 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB over 22 innings across five starts. The Dodgers have remained committed to giving him an opportunity to round back into the form that made him their Opening Day starter in 2022, but he hasn't been able to put things together this season and isn't a lock to make the team's potential postseason roster.

This was the first time Buehler completed five innings in four starts since he returned from a hip injury in mid-August. He's struggled to a 5.67 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 45:20 K:BB over 54 innings across 12 starts this year. Buehler's next start is projected to be at home versus the Cubs.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's win over the Orioles, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over 4.2 innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler retired the first four batters he faced before Ryan O'Hearn reached on a fielding error by Max Muncy with one out in the second. Cedric Mullins then reached on a dropped third strike, and Baltimore tallied three runs in the frame Buehler was later relieved by Anthony Banda after throwing 90 pitches on the night, marking the fourth consecutive start in which he's been unable to make it through five innings. The right-hander has also allowed multiple runs in eight straight outings (dating back to May 25 against the Reds) and now holds a 6.00 ERA and 8:8 K:BB across 12 frames in August.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's win over the Mariners, allowing three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out one over four innings.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler struggled once again Tuesday and recorded his lowest strikeout total of the season. The Mariners got to him early with two runs in the first and another run in the third. One positive from the outing was that Buehler did not allow a home run, which is something he's done only one other time this season. The 29-year-old now sits at a 6.09 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 35:17 K:BB in 44.1 innings. Buehler's spot in the rotation is safe for now, but he could be at risk of being moved to the bullpen for the postseason. He lines up to make another start against the Orioles next week.

Buehler did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Brewers on Wednesday, allowing four runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks over 3.1 innings while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler got off to a horrendous start in his return to the rotation following a stint on the injured list, walking the first three batters he faced before then being tagged for a leadoff homer to open the bottom of the second. He would see two more runs come home in the second inning, though both were unearned on account of a fielding error by Nick Ahmed. The right-hander also walked the leadoff man to begin the third and had to be relieved by Anthony Banda with just one out in the frame. Buehler has now seen at least three runs come across in each of his last six starts (dating back to May 25 against the Reds), while his four walks Wednesday matched a season high. He's also lost his last three decisions.

Buehler (hip) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start against the Brewers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Right hip inflammation forced Buehler onto the injured list June 19, but he's now set to return to the Dodgers rotation for the first time in nearly two months. During his rehab assignment, the 30-year-old righty allowed nine earned runs in 12.2 innings across three starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City, though he gave up only one run in 5.1 frames during his most recent outing. Landon Knack was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Buehler (hip) will return to the Dodgers' rotation Wednesday against the Brewers, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler was initially targeting a start Thursday, but he'll instead face Milwaukee on Wednesday for his first MLB appearance since June 18. Buehler threw 85 pitches in his last rehab start and shouldn't be on a pitch count. Before going on the injured list, the 29-year-old logged a 5.84 ERA with a 31:10 K:BB across 37.0 innings.

Buehler could rejoin the rotation during a four-game road series against Milwaukee that begins Monday, with Thursday being the current target,Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Buehler made what is assumed to be his final rehab start Thursday, tossing 5.1 innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City and yielding one run on one hit with five Ks. The 29-year-old got up to 85 pitches and shouldn't be expected to have a pitch count. The right-hander hasn't pitched for the Dodgers since June 18 due to right hip inflammation.
