Buehler was originally lined up to start Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, but he'll get an extra day of rest before his next start after tossing a complete game his last time out (fanning 16 and picking up the win in the process). Tony Gonsolin is starting Wednesday, while Buehler will look to build off his most recent performance in a rematch against the Rockies on Thursday, this time in Colorado. Through 15 starts this season, the 24-year-old right-hander owns a 2.96 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 100:13 K:BB in 91.1 innings.

Buehler (8-1) pitched nine innings and allowed just two runs on three hits while striking out 16 as he earned the win in a 4-2 victory over the Rockies.

Buehler only allowed solo homers to Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackmon in the contest. The 16 whiffs were a career high for the 24-year-old right-hander, giving him 100 strikeouts in 91.1 innings. He takes a 2.96 ERA and 0.86 WHIP into his next start against the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Buehler will start Friday's series opener versus the Rockies, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Buehler didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Cubs, allowing two hits over seven scoreless innings while striking out six.

The right-hander took a perfect game into the fourth inning and a no-hitter into the sixth, and Buehler seemed headed for his eighth win of the year before Kenley Jansen served up a two-run homer to Anthony Rizzo in the ninth. Buehler (7-1) struck out nine and blanked the Giants over seven frames while surrendering five hits and a walk Sunday in the Dodgers' 1-0 victory.

While Buehler's performance came against one of the majors' weakest lineups and in one of baseball's most pitcher-friendly venues in San Francisco, it nonetheless went down as another dominant performance from the young right-hander. Only one of the hits Buehler allowed went for extra bases, and he needed only 91 pitches to rack up 17 swings and misses. Buehler has now delivered quality starts in six of his last seven turns, registering a 4-1 record, 2.15 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 54:4 K:BB in 46 innings during that stretch.

Buehler (6-1) gave up one run on two hits while striking out 11 through eight innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

EDGE Analysis

Buehler gave up a home run to Christian Walker but was dominant otherwise, inducing 18 swinging strikes to post his highest strikeout total of the season. The right-hander has a 3-1 record with a 2.54 ERA and a ridiculous 45:3 K:BB in his last six starts. Buehler will make his next start Sunday against the Giants at Oracle Park.

Buehler (5-1) took a no-decision in Wednesday's 9-8 win over the Mets after surrendering five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six through five innings of work.

EDGE Analysis

The bulk of Buehler's damage came from a pair of two-run homers by Pete Alonso. The right-hander left the game with the Dodgers trailing, 5-3. It looked like Buehler was in line for the loss after the Dodgers soon found themselves down 8-3, but luckily a ninth-inning rally off Mets closer Edwin Diaz gave the Dodgers all they needed to win the game. Despite the tough outing, Buehler has been sharp this year with a 4.03 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and and 58:12 K:BB. He'll look to bounce back with a road matchup against the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Buehler (5-1) allowed one run on five hits with six strikeouts and a walk across six innings to earn a victory against the Pirates on Friday.

EDGE Analysis

The 24-year-old lost his last outing, but he's allowed just two earned runs in his last 19 frames, and that's lowered his ERA nearly 1.5 runs. Buehler is behind the 9.9 K/9 he posted during his first full major league season last year, but the rest of his numbers are very good. He is 5-1 with a 3.58 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, .228 batting average against and 52 strikeouts in 55.1 innings this season. Buehler is scheduled to pitch next Wednesday against the Mets.

Buehler (4-1) took the loss against the Reds on Saturday, giving up four runs (one earned) on seven hits over six innings, striking out seven and walking one as the Dodgers fell 4-0.

EDGE Analysis

Only one of the four runs Buehler gave up was earned thanks to a throwing error by shortstop Corey Seager, so he was able to lower his to 3.83 despite the losing effort. He also has a 1.05 WHIP and a 46:10 K:BB through 49.1 innings. Buehler lines up to take on the Pirates in his next start at home Friday.

Buehler struck out seven over seven scoreless frames but came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Nationals. He scattered four hits and one walk over the 97-pitch outing.

Buehler's delayed start to spring training may have negatively impacted him earlier in the regular season, but the young righty appears to have since rediscovered the ace-like form he flashed for much of 2018. He's posted a 2.59 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 30:5 K:BB in 31.1 innings over his last five starts, with Saturday's outing representing his best one yet. Buehler exited the contest with a 2-0 lead, but an implosion from the Los Angeles bullpen prevented him from notching his fifth win. He'll look to keep his perfect record intact when he takes on the Reds in Cincinnati next weekend.
