Nuno was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander spent the past month in the minors, accruing a 3.86 ERA and an 11.6 K/9 in 14 innings out of the Tides' bullpen. Nuno will likely offer middle relief help in Baltimore, although his previous struggles in the big leagues certainly don't make him an attractive fantasy option despite his nice strikeout totals.

Nuno was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The struggling Nuno will be replaced in the Orioles bullpen by Richard Bleier, who was recalled from Norfolk in a corresponding move. The left-hander had given up runs in each of his last three appearances with the Orioles to inflate his ERA to 6.75 over 12 innings on the season, prompting the organization to send him back to the minors for further refinement.

Nuno was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nuno has been a liability on the mound for the big club this season. He's pitched in eight games (11 innings) and given up eight runs on five walks and 12 hits, four of which have been home runs. Although the southpaw is rejoining Baltimore's bullpen, it's unlikely he'll see many high-leverage situations until he proves he's capable of consistently shutting down the opposition.

Nuno was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, Rich Dubroff of Press Box Online reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to Friday's rough outing, the southpaw had lowered his ERA to 3.12. However, Nuno allowed his third home run of the season in his brief appearance versus the Yankees, leading the Orioles to send him back to Triple-A for more work. Baltimore is fairly thin on lefties with the departures of him and Jayson Aquino, so Nuno could return to the big leagues fairly soon if the Orioles need a lefty in their relief corps again.

Nuno was less than impressive in an inning of work, allowing two hits (including a home run) on two hits Sunday against Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
Luckily for Nuno, his ninth-inning appearance Sunday came with an 11-2 lead in hand, so the Orioles didn't suffer because of his lackluster effort. The left-hander has looked shaky over his past two outings in which he needed a combined 50 pitches to get just six outs. Nuno's role in the bullpen is far from cemented, so the 29-year-old will need to show improvement sooner rather than later if he's going to stick around with the big-league club.

Per manager Buck Showalter, Nuno will be in the major-league bullpen come Opening Day, Jon Meoli of the Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
The left-hander seemed to be in line for a spot in the big leagues ever since he was dealt to Baltimore from the Dodgers over the offseason, and his 3.37 spring ERA sealed the deal. Nuno has a lot of starting experience at the major league level, so he also could be in line for some spot starts if any of the Orioles starters falter or get injured. That being said, it'll be tough to carve out much fantasy value while he's relegated to long relief.

Nuno will report to camp either Wednesday or Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The uncertainty surrounding the exact day Nuno will arrive at camp is simply because his flight is scheduled to arrive late Tuesday, so he may have Wednesday to rest. Nuno left spring training to pitch for Mexico in the World Baseball Classic. He pitched 1.2 innings over two games at the WBC, during which he allowed two runs.

Nuno has a leg up on the competition for one of the team's remaining bullpen jobs, SB Nation reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the team in need for a left-handed reliever, Nuno appears to have the inside track to an Opening Day role with the Orioles. The 29-year-old has a decent 19.5 percent strikeout rate to go along with a great 6.1 percent walk rate throughout his career. On the other hand, he struggles against righties (.344 career BAA) and has troubles keeping the ball on the ground (38.6 percent career ground ball rate). That said, Nuno has experience and is well-suited to fill a long-relief role for the MLB club in 2017.

Nuno was traded to the Orioles on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Baltimore sent Ryan Moseley, a 22-year-old pitching prospect, to the Dodgers in exchange for Nuno. Nuno has experience as a starter, but has been used more frequently as a reliever over the last two seasons. He's consistently demonstrated fantastic control, as he has a career walk rate of 6.1 percent and posted a mark of 4.5 percent in 2016. However, with a career K-rate of 19.5 percent, prospective owners shouldn't expect much in terms of strikeouts this coming season.

Nuno agreed to a one-year, $1.125 million deal with the Dodgers on Tuesday, avoiding arbitration, FanRag Sports' Jon Heyman reports.
EDGE Analysis
While he represents important left-handed bullpen depth, Nuno is not guaranteed a spot on the 25-man roster out of camp. Grant Dayton, Alex Wood and Luis Avilan may all be ahead of him in the pecking order of lefty relievers entering spring training.
