Taylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 12-3 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor provided a surprise spark from the bottom of the lineup, going yard in the third inning and adding an RBI single in the sixth. The outfielder has hit modestly in July, going 11-for-45 (.244) with six extra-base hits over 15 contests this month. For the season, he's at a .233/.274/.401 slash line with six homers, 25 RBI, 30 runs scored, six stolen bases, 10 doubles and three triples across 216 plate appearances. Taylor may see a short-term uptick in playing time while Harrison Bader recovers from a rolled ankle he sustained Tuesday.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though he appeared to have a firm grasp on an everyday role in right field following Starling Marte's placement on the injured list June 25, Taylor will now sit for the second day in a row after he had started in nine of the preceding 11 contests. Jeff McNeil will get the nod in right field Monday in place of Taylor, who is slashing just .162/.225/.459 since Marte landed on the shelf.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor has been operating as the Mets' primary right fielder since Starling Marte (knee) landed on the injured list June 25, but he'll exit the starting nine Sunday to clear a spot for DJ Stewart. Thus far during Marte's absence, Taylor is hitting just .162 over 10 games, but five of his six hits during that stretch have gone for extra bases (three home runs, two doubles).

Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
In the wake of Starling Marte's (knee) move to the injured list, Taylor had settled into a regular role in right field. Taylor started each of the last four games, going 3-for-14 with two home runs, two walks, five RBI and an additional two runs. He'll cede his spot in the outfield to DJ Stewart in the series finale.

Taylor went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, an additional run and a walk against the Yankees on Wednesday in a 12-2 victory.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor's biggest contribution was a three-run blast in the sixth inning that essentially put the game on ice, giving the Mets a 10-2 lead. It was the outfielder's first homer since April 24 -- a span of 42 games and 94 at-bats. Taylor has made two straight starts in right field with Starling Marte (knee) on the injured list, so he may have a chance to turn around what has so far been a quiet first season as a Met.

Taylor will start in right field and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-handed-hitting Taylor has started in both of the Mets' first two games in right field since Starling Marte (knee) landed on the 10-day injured list, even as the opposition has sent a righty to the bump both times. DJ Stewart will also be in the right-field mix while Marte is shelved, but Taylor looks to be the preferred option for now.

Taylor went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
With Starling Marte (knee) landing on the injured list, Taylor and DJ Stewart are expected to split reps in right field. Instead of using a strict platoon, however, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza elected to deploy the right-handed Taylor against Gerrit Cole on Tuesday, perhaps prioritizing Taylor's superior defense. The 30-year-old is making a case for a bigger role with his bat as well, batting .273 (9-for-33) in June with three doubles, a triple, an RBI and five runs.

Taylor went 0-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's extra-innings win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Getting the start in center field and hitting leadoff, Taylor didn't have much success at the plate but took advantage in the eighth inning when he reached on a Bryson Stott error, swiping second base and coming around to score on a Harrison Bader single. Taylor has seen sporadic playing time of late as the Mets' fourth outfielder, and through 91 plate appearances on the season he's slashing .256/.278/.372 with two homers, four steals, 10 runs and 13 RBI.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor is back on the bench for the third time in four games after he recently wrapped up a stretch of five consecutive starts in the Mets outfield. All of Brandon Nimmo, Starling Marte and Harrison Bader are healthy and available, so Taylor will remain limited to a fourth-outfielder role for the foreseeable future.

Taylor will start in right field and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Cubs, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Taylor will draw a third consecutive start Monday, but he'll be relegated to a fourth- or fifth-outfielder role once Starling Marte (personal) returns from the bereavement list, perhaps as soon as Tuesday. The 30-year-old Taylor has done well with his part-time role in the Mets outfield so far this season, as he enters play Monday with a .294 average, two home runs and two stolen bases over 63 plate appearances.
