Rogers (2-0) earned the win during Thursday's 6-5 victory over Milwaukee, allowing a hit and striking out three in a scoreless inning.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers entered the game in the eighth frame, striking out the first two batters he faced before giving up a single to Garrett Mitchell. However, Rogers kept his composure and struck out the final batter before San Francisco's offense scored two runs. The veteran reliever was efficient in the win, throwing 13 of his 16 pitches for strikes. The right-hander has been impressive over 14 appearances, recording a 0.68 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and a 13:2 K:BB with seven holds across 13.1 innings.

Rogers picked up a hold in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Angels, pitching a perfect inning and striking out one.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers entered the game in the eighth frame and retired the side, throwing eight of his 12 pitches for strikes. The veteran right-hander hasn't allowed a hit in his last three appearances, and he's been charged with only one earned run this season. Over 11 appearances in the 2025 campaign, Rogers has recorded a 0.87 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and a 9:2 K:BB with six holds across 10.1 innings.

Rogers struck out the side in a scoreless inning during Wednesday's 8-6 extra-inning win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers entered the game in the eighth frame, throwing nine of his 12 pitches for strikes during an extremely efficient inning. The right-handed reliever has yet to allow a run in seven appearances and has surrendered just one hit over his last four trips to the mound. Rogers owns a 0.00 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and a 6:2 K:BB, along with a win and four holds, over seven innings so far this season.

The Giants and Rogers avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $5.25 million contract Thursday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers had been arbitration-eligible for a final time this offseason. The side-arming reliever has been one of baseball's busiest relievers over the last several seasons, most recently holding a 2.82 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 51:6 K:BB over 70.1 innings in 2024.

Rogers (3-4) pitched a perfect inning to earn the win Friday over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers got three groundouts in the top of the eighth inning, and Matt Chapman's three-run double gave the Giants a lead in the bottom of the frame. Aside from a disaster outing Aug. 23 versus the Mariners, Rogers has been sharp this month -- he hasn't allowed a run in any of his other 13 appearances this month. For the season, he has a 3.06 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 45:4 K:BB over 61.2 innings while adding a save and 29 holds. Rogers also leads the majors in appearances with 68, matching his total from each of the last two years, though he's more frequently been asked to get less than three outs.

Rogers (2-4) struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the win Friday over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants' bullpen is in flux following the team's shock decision Friday to option out Camilo Doval, who had struggled recently as the closer. Rogers didn't receive a save situation Friday, but he pitched the ninth inning in a tied game, which is another common situation for closers to handle. That may have been a product of Ryan Walker pitching four the previous five days, as it's likely to be Walker who gets the most ninth-inning duties while Rogers -- who has often struggled in save situations -- remains in a setup role. For the season, Rogers has a 3.04 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 38:3 K:BB with one save, 25 holds and a blown save. In addition to Walker and Rogers, Jordan Hicks and Taylor Rogers should also get some late-inning looks, but this is a bullpen situation to monitor over the next few weeks.

Rogers (1-4) allowed two runs on two hits over one inning to take the loss Thursday versus the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants erased a two-run deficit in the top of the eighth inning, but Rogers gave it all back in the bottom of the frame by giving up back-to-back solo home runs to Nick Ahmed and Shohei Ohtani. This was Rogers' second loss in the span of a week, and he's allowed three homers over his last 3.1 innings. The right-hander is at a 3.33 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB with a save and 21 holds over 48.2 innings. He allowed only seven homers in 74 innings a year ago, but he's given up six long balls already this season.

Rogers (1-3) allowed three runs on three hits over one-third of an inning to take the loss Friday versus the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers couldn't keep the game tied at 3-3 in the eighth inning, giving up a three-run home run to Jake Cave that proved to be decisive. Prior to Friday, Rogers had allowed just one run over his lat 10.2 innings. He's now at a 3.15 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB with a save and 19 holds across 45.2 innings this season. Rogers has generally been reliable in a setup role and does not appear to be in danger of losing that spot in the bullpen hierarchy.

Rogers (1-2) pitched a perfect inning and was awarded the win Tuesday over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants led from the second inning on during the bullpen game. Rogers was the first reliever to post a clean outing, and the official scorer handed him his first win of the campaign. Aside from a June 18 three-run meltdown versus these same Cubs in Chicago, Rogers has had a good month. He's kept runs off the board in his other 10 appearances while adding four holds in a setup role. For the season, he's at a 2.92 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 27:2 K:BB with a save, 12 holds and a blown save across 37 innings.

Rogers (0-2) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning to take the loss Tuesday versus the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Rogers was on the hook for the Cubs' three-run rally in the eighth inning. This outing ended his nine-inning scoreless streak, during which he allowed just four baserunners while striking out eight and collecting four holds. Rogers has been generally effective in a setup role this year with a 3.12 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 25:2 K:BB over 34.2 innings, to go with one save and 12 holds. While he sees plenty of high-leverage work, Rogers has often struggled when given opportunities to close, so Camilo Doval's role as closer is not in question despite his own struggles this year.
