O'Neill (groin) missed a second straight game Sunday and could require a stint on the disabled list, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup with discomfort he started feeling shortly before the start of the game. He wasn't cleared to return Sunday and is flying to Miami with the team for further evaluation. Interim manager Mike Shildt confirmed Sunday that "there's definitely a chance" that O'Neill may need a stint on the disabled list, something that's likely to be determined within the next few days.

O'Neill (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale at Pittsburgh, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill was a late scratch for Saturday's game due to groin discomfort and apparently isn't ready to return to the starting nine Sunday. The severity of the issue remains unclear as Jose Martinez shifts to right field for the Cardinals.

O'Neill was a late scratch from Saturday's lineup against the Pirates due to groin discomfort, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The unexpected day off hopefully won't cool off O'Neill, who's opened his latest big-league stint by going 5-for-8 over his first four games. The outfielder played all nine innings in Friday's loss, so it's presently unclear if the discomfort he's experiencing began at some point during that game. O'Neill will be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's series finale.

O'Neill went 3-for-5 with a run in a loss to the Pirates on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill's latest big-league stint is off to a rousing start, as he's hit safely in all four games since returning while going 5-for-8 with two RBI, a walk, a stolen base and a run. The prodigious slugger has yet to leave the yard since his latest callup, but given his body of work at Triple-A Memphis in that regard, that doesn't figure to be the case for much longer.

O'Neill went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk Thursday against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill plated a run in the third inning on a sacrifice fly for his ninth RBI on the season. He's recording a base hit in four of his past six games, going 5-for-12 with two RBI over that stretch. O'Neill is slashing .280/.309/.480 with three homers and a .789 OPS over 22 games this season.

O'Neill went 2-for-3 with a run in a loss to the Rockies on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Just recalled from Triple-A Memphis earlier in the day, O'Neill was immediately slotted into the lineup by interim manager Mike Shildt. The prodigious rookie had recently been on another one of his trademark home-run tears with the Redbirds, and with Tommy Pham having been dealt to the Rays at the deadline, O'Neill's projects to have an extended opportunity to replicate the feat at the big-league level.

O'Neill will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill is expected to join the club prior to Tuesday's game against the Rockies to take the roster spot of Tommy Pham, who was dealt to Tampa Bay earlier in the day. Across 19 games with the Cardinals during various stints with the team this year, he's gone 10-for-44 (.227 average) with three home runs and seven RBI. With Pham out of the picture, O'Neill should slide in as a fourth outfielder behind Marcell Ozuna, Harrison Bader and Dexter Fowler. Look for him to receive some playing time at the corner outfield spots, especially in right field.

O'Neill went 3-for-5 with thee home runs and four RBI for Triple-A Memphis in its 7-4 win over Colorado Springs on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill's fifth multi-homer effort of the season helped him move into a tie with Salt Lake's Jabari Blash for the Pacific Coast League lead with 23. The 23-year-old's credentials as a power hitter aren't in dispute, but there remain some concerns about his plate discipline, which could harm his chances of claiming a full-time role with the Cardinals. Over his multiple stints in the big leagues this season, O'Neill has homered three times in 47 plate appearances, but has posted an ugly 1:20 BB:K.

O'Neill (hamstring) was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill has bounced between Triple-A and the majors this season, hitting .227/.255/.455 with three homers in 19 games with St. Louis. He'll likely receive more opportunities in the second half but it could take an injury or two for him to earn a starting role.

O'Neill (hamstring) was sent to Triple-A Memphis to begin a rehab assignment Saturday, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Neill has been out since July 5 with a left hamstring strain. Given the timing, he'll likely spend a few days in Memphis before returning to St. Louis after the All-Star break, though he's not a lock to return to the majors once healthy.
