Fitzgerald went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald took the second pitch of the game out to left field for a leadoff homer. The 26-year-old has taken over leadoff duties versus left-handed starters -- he's been atop the order against the last three southpaws the Giants have faced since Jorge Soler was traded to Atlanta. Fitzgerald has certainly earned a prominent spot in the lineup with 11 homers over his last 17 contests and a .314/.373/.650 slash line across 153 plate appearances this year.

Fitzgerald went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald has 10 homers over his last 16 games, including two long balls over three contests in August. He continues to run with the opportunity to be a near-everyday option at shortstop, and it's tough to see him coming out of the lineup often as long as he keeps mashing. For the year, the 26-year-old has a .309/.369/.632 slash line with 11 homers, 23 RBI, 28 runs scored, seven stolen bases, seven doubles and two triples over 50 contests.

Fitzgerald went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Friday's win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald knocked an RBI double in the second inning and added an insurance run with a solo blast in the seventh. He was stuck in a small 3-for-20 skid before Friday's big performance. Over the last 14 games, he's gone 19-for-52 (.365) with 13 extra-base knocks, including nine homers. The hot stretch has pushed Fitzgerald's season slash line to .313/.371/.633 through 140 plate appearances.

FItzgerald went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald went hitless in his first three trips to the plate before launching a solo shot in his final at-bat to extend San Francisco's lead to five runs. It marked the outfielder's eighth home run in his last 10 games while he also extended his hitting streak to 10 games with the long ball. For the month, Fitzgerald is now batting .390 with 11 extra-base hits, 15 RBI and 13 runs scored.

Fitzgerald went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 11-4 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald continues to put together a stunning surge in the second half. Dating back to July 9, he has at least one extra-base hit (seven homers, two doubles, one triple) in eight straight games. He's up to a .330/.400/.660 slash line with eight long balls, 18 RBI, 24 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 42 contests this year. Fitzgerald's playing time also looks to be more secure moving forward after Thairo Estrada (wrist) landed on the injured list Friday. Look for Fitzgerald to handle a starting role at shortstop while Brett Wisely and Casey Schmitt share second base for the time being.

Fitzgerald went 3-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald kept his home run magic going with a solo blast to left in the second inning, and he later drove in a second run in the ninth with a single. He's now homered in five straight games, becoming the first Giants rookie to accomplish such a feat and becoming the first Giant to do it since Barry Bonds homered in seven straight in 2004. Over this stretch, Fitzgerald's slashing .571/.667/1.714 with seven RBI, six runs and a 4:4 BB:K in 18 plate appearances. He should continue to find himself in the lineup while his bat his scorching hot.

Fitzgerald went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald now has a homer in each of his last four games, and he's started three in a row. He was in the lineup over Thairo Estrada -- who is hitting .103 over eight games in July -- versus a right-hander for the second game in a row, though it's unclear if this is a real shift in the infield hierarchy or just manager Bob Melvin riding the hot hand. Fitzgerald is up to a 2.99/.365/.552 slash line with five homers, 11 RBI, 17 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 96 plate appearances.

Fitzgerald went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald has homered in back-to-back games as he continues to build a case for more playing time. Most importantly, his homer Sunday came off right-hander Ryan Feltner -- Fitzgerald has mostly operated in a short-side platoon role. For the season, the utility man is batting .298 with four homers, seven stolen bases, 10 RBI and 16 runs scored through 92 plate appearances. He continues to be an option primarily in the middle infield whenever Brett Wisely or Thairo Estrada need rest.

Fitzgerald went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and an RBI double in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald has homered in each of his last two games, and he has five RBI over his last four. The utility man has played well in limited action this year, slashing .293/.348/.488 with three homers, seven stolen bases, nine RBI and 15 runs scored across 89 plate appearances. Fitzgerald has mostly been a short-side platoon option, but he'll stay in the lineup at shortstop Sunday versus Rockies right-hander Ryan Feltner, while Brett Wisely slides over to cover second base with Thairo Estrada resting.

Fitzgerald went 1-for-3 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Fitzgerald's only hit of the night came at a crucial moment after he led off the eighth with a solo blast off Yusei Kikuchi to put the Giants within a run. Fitzgerald then worked a walk in the ninth before eventually scoring the winning run on a wild pitch to walk off the game. Though he's yet to carve out a full-time role, Fitzgerald has done well with his opportunities, slashing .278/.337/.430 with two homers, seven RBI, 14 runs, seven steals and a 6:28 BB:K in 86 plate appearances.
