Anderson (10-11) allowed five runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out two over six-plus innings to earn the win over the Royals on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's outing was much better than the final line indicates, but he was on the hook for all three of the Royals' runs in the seventh inning. He's now allowed 12 runs over his last 11.2 innings, by far the worst two-start stretch of his season. Still, the southpaw has been a bright spot in the Angels' rotation with a 3.46 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 119:58 K:BB through 153.1 innings over 25 starts this year. Anderson is projected to make his next start at Toronto.

Anderson (9-11) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday, allowing seven runs on six hits and four walks over 5.2 innings while striking out eight.
EDGE Analysis
The Blue Jays got to Anderson early and often Wednesday, tagging the veteran for runs in the second, third, fifth and sixth innings while the Angels' offense struggled to get anything going. The lefty gave up a season-high seven runs on the night while surrendering multiple home runs for the first time in his last five starts. Anderson's four walks in the contest were the most he's issued since June 25 against the Athletics (span of seven starts), and he's now allowed multiple free passes in two of his last three outings. On a positive note, Anderson has gone at least five innings in seven consecutive starts.

Anderson (9-10) earned the win over the Yankees on Thursday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson surrendered a solo homer to Jazz Chisholm in the second inning but otherwise had little trouble with New York's lineup. The left-handed hurler notched his third quality start over his past eight contests and brought his ERA back down to a sub-3.00 mark at 2.99. One of Anderson's flaws in fantasy over the course of his career has been his low strikeout numbers, but he's seen an uptick in that category of late, as Thursday marked the fourth time over his past six outings that he's recorded at least seven punchouts. In fact, he has racked up a healthy 42 strikeouts across his past 37.2 frames.

Anderson (8-10) allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to take the loss versus the Mets on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is now up to 10 losses in the season, making him the 12th starter this season with double-digit losses. The 2024 All-Star still carries a 3.05 ERA, which is the best of any of those starters with 10 or more losses. Anderson's recent home/away splits have been puzzling though, as he's now given up 19 runs in his last five home starts while only allowing four runs in his five most recent road starts.

Anderson (8-9) took the loss against the Athletics on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over seven innings while striking out 10.
EDGE Analysis
All three runs charged to Anderson came across in the first inning, when he allowed two of the first three batters to reach before surrendering a three-run homer to Shea Langeliers. The lefty would then allow just three singles and a walk over six scoreless frames to close out his night, but he still ended up taking his ninth loss, as the Angels' offense produced just one run in the contest. Anderson induced 17 whiffs in the loss, racking up 10 strikeouts for the second time in his last four starts. He's also gone at least six innings in three of his last four outings and currently holds a 2.70 ERA in July to go along with a robust 32:2 K:BB.

Anderson allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out eight over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson pitched well but received no run support while he was in the game, though the Angels pulled ahead over the last two innings. The southpaw hadn't exceeded seven strikeouts in any of his first 17 outings, but he's done so twice in his three starts in July. For the season, he's at a 2.91 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 89:48 K:BB through 123.2 innings over 20 starts. Anderson's next start is projected to be at home versus the Athletics.

Anderson did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-5 win over Seattle, allowing four runs on six hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
The Los Angeles lefty struggled out the gate, surrendering a two-run homer to Julio Rodriguez in the first inning. Anderson later allowed his third and fourth runs on another two-run long ball in the third via a 423-foot blast by Cal Raleigh. Despite the rough outing, the 34-year-old veteran wraps a resurgent first half in which he pitched to a 2.97 ERA and 1.17 WHIP across 118 innings. Anderson currently lines up to make his first post-All-Star break start against the Athletics in Oakland.

Anderson (8-8) earned the win over the Cubs on Saturday, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out 10 over eight scoreless innings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was magnificent, generating an eye-popping 22 swinging strikes and a season-high 10 punchouts. He especially leaned on his changeup, throwing it 30 times and accumulating 11 whiffs. The southpaw responded from allowing a season-high six earned runs Sunday with his best outing of the year. He now owns a 2.81 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 77:47 K:BB over 112 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Mariners next week.

Anderson (7-8) yielded six runs on seven hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson gave up one run through three innings before the Tigers plated three runs in the fourth. He was charged with two more when Carson Kelly drilled a three-run homer off Andrew Wantz in the fifth. It was the most runs allowed by Anderson this season and his ERA jumped from 2.63 to 3.03 through 104 frames. He went 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA in six June outings. Anderson's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Cubs.

Anderson (7-7) picked up the win Tuesday against Oakland, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks across five innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Walks have been an especially pertinent issue for Anderson as of late, with Tuesday's start being his third time issuing five free passes in six appearances. Despite finding the strike zone on just 62 of his 109 pitches, Anderson was good enough at limiting damage to pull out his seventh victory of the season. Still, when the A's made contact, they hit Anderson hard. Three of the 34-year-old's five hits surrendered went for extra bases, with Brent Rooker clubbing a solo homer in the fifth frame. Anderson owns a 2.63 ERA and a 65:46 K:BB across 99.1 innings this season. He's on track to close out a two-start week against Detroit on Sunday.
