Blach (3-6) allowed six runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out one over 2.1 innings to take the loss Tuesday versus the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Blach actually ended up pitching the least of the three Rockies who took the hill Tuesday, as his return to the rotation was greeted by Boston's bats. Tyler O'Neill did most of the damage with two home runs. Blach threw 59 pitches (38 strikes) in this outing and may continue to stretch out if he remains in the rotation going forward. He has a 6.13 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 33:14 K:BB through 61.2 innings over 17 appearances (10 starts) this year, finding minimal success irrespective of whether he's served as a starter or reliever.

Blach is expected to start Tuesday against the Red Sox in place of the injured German Marquez (elbow), Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blach will be available in relief Monday, if needed, but the Rockies hope to be able to hold him back for Tuesday's start. The left-hander has split his time between the rotation and bullpen this season, collecting a 5.46 ERA and 32:13 K:BB over 59.1 innings covering 16 appearances (nine starts). Blach hasn't thrown more than 39 pitches in an outing in more than a month, so he won't be fully stretched out Tuesday.

Blach gave up one earned run on three hits and one walk while striking out a batter out of the bullpen in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Blach made his second relief appearance since losing his spot in the rotation when the Rockies welcomed Kyle Freeland back from the injured list June 23. Over his nine starts with Colorado, Blach turned in a 5.83 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 46.1 innings.

Blach (3-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two batters over four innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Blach was hit hard in the start -- five of the 10 hits he allowed, including three homers, went for extra bases. It was the first time this season he's served up three homers in an outing, and the five runs he allowed were the second-most he's surrendered in a start this season. Blach is off the fantasy radar given his home park and the fact that he's compiled a 5.13 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB over 54.1 innings this season.

Blach (3-4) picked up the win over the Pirates on Saturday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five over 5.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Blach was effective early, striking out the first two batters he faced in the contest and going 1-2-3 through the first two frames. He would go on to surrender a solo homer to Nick Gonzales in the fourth and a second run in the sixth, but the lefty was able to hang on to earn his fourth win of the season and his first in the month of June. Blach has gone at least five innings in five straight outings, issuing multiple walks only one time over that stretch. However, he's also given up at least seven hits in three consecutive starts.

Blach (2-4) yielded four runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Blach never quite found a groove Sunday, allowing at least one run in the second, third and fourth frames. He's given up eight runs in 10 innings so far this month after ending May with two straight quality starts. The 33-year-old southpaw's ERA has climbed to 4.84 with a 22:8 K:BB through 44.2 innings this season. Blach's next start is projected to be at home against the PIrates.

Blach (2-3) allowed four runs on 10 hits and struck out two without walking a batter over five innings, taking the loss Tuesday versus the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies had just six baserunners in the contest, giving Blach virtually no support. This was a bit of a step back for the southpaw, who had posted quality starts in each of his previous two outings. Blach is now at a 4.54 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 19:7 K:BB through 39.2 innings over nine appearances (six starts) this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road at St. Louis.

Blach (2-2) earned the win over the Guardians on Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Th lefty got touched for two runs in the first inning, but was fortunate to receive plenty of run support early after the Rockies got to Logan Allen for seven runs over the first two frames. Blach would not allow another run after the first and produced three 1-2-3 innings en route to posting his second win of the season. He struck out a season-high five batters in the contest while also going seven innings for the first time in the campaign. He's now logged back-to-back quality starts and has won two of his last three decisions (spanning four outings).

Blach did not factor into the decision Friday against Philadelphia, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over 6.2 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Blach survived a difficult test as the Phillies entered Friday donning the fourth-best offense ranked by wRC+ (116). Outside of solo homers allowed to Nick Castellanos and Edmundo Sosa, Blach faired well enough to gather his first quality start of the season. Over 27.2 innings this season, the Rockies lefty has tossed a 4.55 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 12:5 K:BB. Blach is tentatively slated to face the Guardians at home in his next outing.

Blach (1-2) took the loss Saturday in San Francisco, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk over three innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants tallied 18 hits and 14 runs in this one, with Blach and reliever Nick Mears (six runs in two-thirds of an inning) absorbing the big blows. Blach was given another start after holding the Rangers to one run over five innings his last time out, but he might be headed back to long relief after this effort. If he does get another turn, it would likely come next week at home versus the Phillies.
