Trea Turner Not Cleared To Throw Or Hit rotoballer.com Tue 4/23/19 12:37 AM
Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner (finger) is taking ground balls and doing other baseball activities, but he hasn't been cleared to throw or hit yet. Turner is recovering from a fractured finger, and his fantasy owners must sit tight and practice patience. He was hitting .357/.400/.857 with two home runs, four RBI and four steals in four games before his injury, so he's a must-stash in all leagues. Wilmer Difo will continue filling in for Turner at the 6 in D.C.
Shortstop - The Under-Appreciated Glamour Boys of '19 rotoballer.com Fri 4/19/19 8:30 AM
Shortstop has long been a position comprised of the nobles and the bastards. People would flock towards the highborn and turn a frigidly cold shoulder to anyone else. Fantasy managers were basically elitists in the purest definition of the word in regard to shortstops. It is time to start spreading the love and realize that regular shortstops are performing well enough to garner your attention. No one is saying to avoid the upper-echelon, just to broaden your perspective. The elite still exists i[...]

It's been 15 days since Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner broke his index finger when he got hit by a pitch. On Injuries and the Illusion of Control rotoballer.com Fri 4/5/19 8:15 AM
For this week's edition of The Friday Meta, I had planned to delve into the question of how owners approach the use of FAAB (free agent acquisition budget) in the early portion of the season. That's a worthwhile topic, but it can also wait a week. There are more immediate concerns at hand - namely, as you may have noticed, thatliterally every player is hurt.[...]

This news is devastating for both the Nationals and Turner's fantasy shareholders as the first-round shortstop is likely to miss significant time. [...]
