D'Arnaud is still experiencing wrist pain and may remain out Sunday against the Nationals, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud has been out since Thursday with a wrist injury, but has made a couple appearances as a pinch-hitter since then. However, although his health is good enough for him to hit, he may not be quite ready to resume his catching duties. If d'Arnaud remains out Sunday, Rene Rivera will likely get the nod to start behind the dish.

D'Arnaud (wrist) is not in the Mets' lineup Saturday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
It will be the third straight game in which D'Arnaud doesn't start after he hit his hand on a bat while throwing during Wednesday's game. Rene Rivera, who is starting behind the plate Saturday, will likely continue receiving the lion's share of catching duties.

d'Arnaud was scratched from the Mets' lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals after having difficulty throwing, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets will be hoping that this is nothing more than a little soreness for their starting catcher. d'Arnaud has had a respectable start to the season at the plate so far, slashing .263/.349/.526 to go along with two home runs.

D'Arnaud (wrist) grounded out in a pinch-hit appearance Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets' backstop was left out of the lineup Thursday due to a wrist contusion, and though he was able to log an at-bat, he never got the chance to draw in behind the plate. Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports that d'Arnaud will test out his wrist during the day Friday before manager Terry Collins makes a final decision on his lineup. If d'Arnaud is ruled out, Rene Rivera will likely get another start at catcher.

D'Arnaud (wrist) is out of the lineup Thursday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud was diagnosed with a wrist contusion after hitting his hand on a bat while making a throw. There's yet to be any indication as to when he'll return, so the Mets will turn to Rene Rivera to take over their catching duties until d'Arnaud is healthy again.

d'Arnaud, who exited Wednesday's game against the Phillies early, has been diagnosed with a right wrist contusion, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
As was noted in a previous update, d'Arnaud hit his hand on a bat while making a throw from behind home plate. How much time the catcher will be forced to miss depends on the severity of his bruise and how quickly it's able to heal. A more clear timetable for his return should become available in the coming days.

d'Arnaud exited Wednesday's game against the Phillies early after hitting his hand on a bat while making a throw from behind the plate, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's currently unclear as to how severe d'Arnaud's hand injury is. It's possibly that the Mets are just playing it safe with their oft-injured catcher. He'll be considered as day-to-day until the team releases additional information regarding his early departure.

D'Arnaud could be on the bench again Saturday for another rest day following Thursday's 16-inning game, Kristie Ackert of The New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
He apparently needed help making it down the clubhouse steps after crouching behind the plate for five hours Thursday, so an extended break seems like a wise precaution given d'Arnaud's injury history. "I am going to give him two [days off]," Mets manager Terry Collins said Friday. "We've got three more here. I thought that was a long game last night, he was exhausted when the game was over. So, I'll give him tonight and tomorrow and get him back out there." Rene Rivera would then make his second straight start Saturday, but expect d'Arnaud back in the lineup Sunday.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, d'Arnaud will take a seat Friday after catching 16 innings and hitting the game-winning home run against the Marlins in the series opener. Rene Rivera will take over behind the plate in his place, but d'Arnaud figures to draw back into the lineup later in the weekend.

D'Arnaud went 4-for-6 with a walk, a triple, a home run, three runs scored and four RBI in Thursday's extra-inning win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
After playing all 16 innings Thursday and giving the Mets the victory with a solo homer in the top of the 16th, expect d'Arnaud to get a well-deserved day off Friday. The 28-year-old is enjoying a tremendous start to 2017, slashing .333/.438/.704 through nine games with two home runs and nine RBI.
