Renda signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Friday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Renda was designated for assignment at the start of November but will remain in the Red Sox organization for now. The 27-year-old slashed .318/.373/.453 between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket, and will continue to provided organizational depth at second base as Dustin Pedroia continues his recovery from his knee issues.

Renda was outrighted to Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This move takes Renda off the club's 40-man roster, which will free up a spot for the Red Sox to protect a younger prospect from the Rule 5 draft. Renda split time between Double- and Triple-A this past season, slashing a combined .318/.373/.453 with five home runs, 27 RBI and 10 stolen bases. He did play in one game for the big-league team, making his Boston debut as a pinch runner versus the Yankees in early August. Renda will remain in the Red Sox's system as additional infield depth for the time being.

Renda will be optioned to Triple-A Pawtucket on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rafael Devers (hamstring) will make his return from the disabled list, ending Renda's current stint in the majors. The 27-year-old served as a pinch runner and scored a run in his Red Sox debut Sunday against the Yankees, but did not have a plate appearance.

Renda will be recalled from Triple-A Pawtucket prior to Saturday's matchup against the Yankees, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Renda is set for his big-league debut after Ian Kinsler, Rafael Devers and Blake Swihart all ended up on the disabled list with hamstring injuries. Renda was hitting .318 with one homer and seven RBI through 20 games at Triple-A, and he'll likely draw starts at the keystone along with Brock Holt until the Boston infield returns to health.

Renda signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Monday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Renda played exclusively at the Triple-A level in 2017 while splitting time between the Cincinnati and Arizona systems, slashing .250/.293/.317 across 208 at-bats. He'll likely report to Triple-A Pawtucket or Double-A Portland with his new organization and will function as a depth option in the infield.

Renda was traded to the Diamondbacks on Monday in exchange for a player to be named later or cash, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was batting .260 with one home run in 198 plate appearances at Triple-A Louisville and wasn't viewed as a long-term asset in the Reds organization, so he was jettisoned to a new organization in order to free up a roster spot for Louisville. Two of Renda's best attributes are his defensive versatility and plate discipline, but those skills won't give him much appeal in the fantasy realm.

Renda was reassigned to minor league camp Tuesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
A .295/.404/.523 showing in the Cactus League wasn't enough for Renda to force his way back onto the 40-man roster after being outrighted in December. The 26-year-old Renda appeared to hurt himself on a diving play last weekend but there has been no indication that it will keep off the field to begin the minor league season. He figures to spend most of the year at Triple-A Louisville.

Renda cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Renda hopped up to the big leagues for a pair of stints late last season, but his defensive versatility and advanced eye at the plate weren't enough to overcome the .183 batting average he put up in 60 at-bats in Cincinnati, leading the Reds to cast him off the 40-man roster. Renda does possess a bit of speed and got on base at a .363 clip in the minors last season, but he projects as little more than organizational depth moving forward.

Renda was recalled from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Part of the return for Aroldis Chapman last offseason, Renda appeared in 16 games with the Reds last month, going 6-for-27 (.222 average) with one extra-base hit. The 25-year-old did get on base at a .363 clip in the minors this year but he will merely fill a bench role over the final few weeks of the 2016 season and there's not much to see here long term.

Renda was optioned back to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Renda spent just under a month with the big league club, but he'll return to Louisville as the Reds bring up catcher Raffy Lopez. The 25-year-old Renda appeared in 16 games for Cincinnati, hitting .222 with a pair of RBI in 27 at-bats. He'll likely return to the Reds when rosters expand next month.
