Nationals prospect Steven Souza is 5-for-10 with two doubles and a stolen base this spring. The Nationals added Souza to the 40-man roster last November, and the outfielder rewarded the organization by batting .357/.426/.476 with three extra-base hits and 10 stolen bases in the Arizona Fall League. Though it took him several years to figure things out in the low minors, Souza, who will turn 25 in April, turned in a breakthrough performance last year at Double-A Harrisburg, batting .300/.396/.557 with 23 doubles, 15 home runs, 20 stolen bases and a 76-41 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 77 games. He'll likely begin the 2014 season at Triple-A and receive a taste of the major leagues later in the year.
