Kwan went 5-for-5 with a double and four runs Sunday in the Guardians' 17-3 win over the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
After hitting .469 in Cactus League play to earn a spot on the Guardians' Opening Day roster, Kwan has continued to keep raking in his first three big-league games. He was also hit by a pitch in Sunday's game, allowing him to reach base an incredible 12 times in his first 14 plate appearances. Kwan's on-base and contact-hitting skills are legitimate -- he posted strikeout rates below 11 percent at all three of his full-season stops in the minors -- but a lack of power and speed will cap his overall fantasy ceiling. That said, Kwan projects as an excellent source of batting average and runs, making him an ideal pickup in leagues where he's available for fantasy managers in need of help in those categories.

Kwan went 2-for-3 with a walk and a double in Saturday's 1-0 extra-inning loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Guardians batters reached base only seven times the entire game -- on five hits, a walk and a HBP -- and Kwan accounted for nearly half of those trips. Not bad for a kid in his second career MLB game. The sample is a tiny one, but so far the 24-year-old has shown that his elite hit tool and sharp eye at the plate will play in the majors, as he's gone 3-for-5 with a 3:0 BB:K in those two games. Kwan could become a fixture near the top of the Cleveland order if he keeps this up.

Kwan is hitting second and starting in left field Saturday against the Royals, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
He went 1-for-2 with two walks out of the seven hole on Opening Day and he's already moved up to the two hole against righty Brad Keller. Kwan's hit tool is pretty elite relative to most prospects, and given the Guardians' lack of strong AVG/OBP options, he could retain a favorable spot in the order all season.

Kwan went 1-for-2 with two walks in Thursday's loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Kwan, who batted seventh, got on base three times during his MLB debut. The 24-year-old outfielder figures to continue drawing starts in right field with Josh Naylor (lower leg) sidelined, especially if his elite-contact skills continue to translate to the big league level.

Kwan will start in right field in Thursday's season opener against the Royals, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kwan earned a spot on Cleveland's Opening Day roster and will receive the start in his major-league debut. Josh Naylor (lower leg) is on the injured list to begin the season, but may not be out long, leaving the rookie to start in right for the Guardians. A hot start to the season could help Kwan stick around even once the outfield group is back to full strength.

Kwan has made the Guardians' Opening Day roster, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Guardians have a well-earned reputation for prioritizing money over wins, but they'll buck that trend here by starting the service-time clock of one of the game's more interesting prospects. Kwan is a strong defender and an elite contact hitter, striking out 9.2 percent of the time in 217 major-league games while slashing .301/.380/.438. He doesn't have much power, as he's only hit 15 homers as a professional, but he should be able to hit for a solid batting average right away and could score a fair amount of runs if his strong on-base skills eventually earn him a spot at or near the top of the lineup. Such a role may not come early in the season, however, and it's not even guaranteed that he'll start on a regular basis.

Kwan went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Kwan isn't expected to break camp with the Guardians, but he's making that a tougher decision for manager Terry Francona. Through nine games, Kwan is 9-for-18 with a double, three RBI and six runs scored. The fifth-round pick from 2018 showed a little more power in 2021, posting 12 home runs and 15 doubles in 77 games between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus. It's his contact skills that will get him to the majors -- he's never hit under .280 in the minors. Myles Straw is likely to patrol center field, which is Kwan's natural position, but the 24-year-old could get a promotion if Josh Naylor, Bradley Zimmer or Oscar Mercado struggle with the bat while covering the corner outfield spots.

Kwan was added to Cleveland's 40-man roster Friday.
EDGE Analysis
One of the more underrated hitting prospects in the game, Kwan has always had great plate skills but he started tapping into more power last season. He is primed to get a chance at the big-league level in 2022 and is a good late-round target in draft-and-hold leagues.

Kwan (hamstring) was activated off the minor-league injured list Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Kwan appeared in just three games this season before going down with a hamstring strain. In his last full season, he hit .280/.353/.382 with three homers and 11 steals in 123 games for High-A Lynchburg while primarily playing center field.

Kwan was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Kwan has been assigned to Double-A Akron to begin the minor-league season, and he went 3-for-8 with a double, two runs, two RBI and a stolen base in his first three games. However, he apparently sustained a hamstring injury in Thursday's game and will miss at least 10 days as a result.
