Milwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder) went 1-for-2 with a home run in his first rehab game with the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers. Vogt is definitely one of the better hitting catchers in the game currently and looks to be on the right track for return with a home run. When returning, Jett Bandy will most likely be sent down while Vogt will maintain backup catching duties behind Manny Pina. Vogt should only be owned in two-catcher or NL-only leagues when he returns.

Vogt will begin catching games on Wednesday and that is a big step forward in his rehab process. He'll likely need 20-25 at-bats to get his timing down, but he could be back with the Brewers very soon. Vogt will likely be the every day catcher once he's healthy enough to return to the MLB club.

Milwaukee Brewers catcher Stephen Vogt (shoulder strain) has made even more progress in his throwing program and will most likely get his injury timetable sometime in the next week or two. Vogt has yet to go into rehab games, so he's most likely still a couple weeks away from returning. When returning, he will be a backup catcher to Manny Pina and will not have much fantasy relevance unless he can bring his 2014 and 2015 numbers back where he hit .279 and .261 respectively.
