Feltner allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner has given up at least four runs in six of his last seven outings. He was on the hook for the loss until the Rockies rallied to tie the game in the seventh inning. His recent poor stretch of pitching has included four home starts, so it's not surprising he's struggled to find stability. Feltner is at a 6.02 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 73:22 K:BB through 80.2 innings over 15 starts this season. He's projected for a road start versus the Astros his next time out.

Feltner (2-6) took the loss Friday against the Pirates, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over 6.2 innings. He struck out eight.
EDGE Analysis
Despite generating 13 whiffs to produce eight punchouts, Feltner struggled with the long ball, yielding a season-worst three homers. All three roundtrippers were titanic blasts, as each traveled farther than 430 feet in the thin Colorado air. Feltner has been especially shaky since May 1, going 0-4 with a 6.17 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 42.1 innings in eight starts. The Rockies right-hander gets no reprieve in his next start, as he's currently scheduled to face the Dodgers at home.

Feltner allowed four runs (all unearned) on two hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against St. Louis on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner held the Cardinals scoreless through five frames but ran into trouble when the first two batters reached base against him in the sixth. The right-hander responded by striking out Masyn Winn, but his defense then let him down, committing an error on each of the following two balls hit in play. That led to Feltner's departure and spoiled his chance at what could have been his first victory since April 12. Despite the disappointing finish, this was a much-needed bounce-back effort from Feltner after he allowed a combined 15 runs (13 earned) across 9.2 innings over his previous two starts.

Feltner (1-5) yielded eight runs on 10 hits over 4.1 innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner began his start with a scoreless first inning, but that was the only positive in what became a long night for Colorado's pitching staff. The Reds piled eight runs on Feltner, including back-to-back three-run innings in the second and third. He was knocked from the game after 4.1 frames for the second straight start and saw his ERA jump to 6.22 through 63.2 innings. Since the start of May, he's given up at least five runs in four of his six starts. Feltner's next outing is projected to be in St. Louis.

Feltner allowed seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Guardians on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner finally had some struggles at Coors Field in his fourth home start of the campaign. Jose Ramirez tagged him for a two-run home run in the first inning and Josh Naylor added another two-run blast in the fifth. Feltner posted six scoreless innings against the Athletics in his previous start, but he took a step back Tuesday and continues to post poor numbers overall. He's at a 5.61 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 49:18 K:BB through 59.1 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Reds.

Feltner allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
This was arguably Feltner's best start of the campaign, but it was all for nothing when six Rockies relievers all gave up at least one run. The Athletics rallied to erase three deficits before ultimately winning in the 11th inning. Feltner's winless skid is at seven games, and he remains 1-4 on the year with a 5.07 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 48:16 K:BB through 55 innings over 10 starts. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Guardians.

Feltner (1-4) gave up five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over four-plus innings to take the loss Friday versus the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
This is the fifth time in nine starts Feltner has allowed at least four runs. The Rockies got off to a good start, but the right-hander gave it all back when he was tagged for a three-run home run by Thairo Estrada in the fifth inning. Feltner is now at a 5.69 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 42:14 K:BB through 49 innings this season. Oddly enough, he's been slightly worse away from Coors Field in 2024, but his next start is projected to be at Oakland.

Feltner allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner ran into some trouble in the fifth inning but otherwise had a solid outing for his third quality start of the season. He's still winless over his last five outings, but he was able to avoid giving up a home run -- Feltner has yet to yield a long ball at home in three Coors Field starts in 2024. Overall, he's at a 5.20 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB through 45 innings over eight starts this season. The right-hander is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road at pitcher-friendly Oracle Park in San Francisco.

Feltner (1-3) suffered the loss Sunday, allowing five runs on eight hits over 5.2 innings against the Pirates. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Feltner was in line for the win through five innings, having allowed only one run to that point, but he allowed four runs on five hits in the sixth, with the damage including a couple of doubles and a blast by Oneil Cruz that helped seal Feltner's fate. Feltner was coming off a career-best eight-plus inning performance in his last start but eventually ran out of gas against a Pirates squad that had managed only three runs during the first two games of the series. Feltner will carry a 5.54 ERA and 1.46 ERA into his next start, tentatively lined up for next weekend when the Rangers come to the Mile High City for a three-game set.

Feltner did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on five hits over eight innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Felter was dominant for most of Tuesday's outing, blanking the Marlins through eight frames. With the Marlins up 5-0, the 27-year-old Feltner started the ninth inning, eyeing the first complete game of his career. However, he was pulled after allowing the first three batters to reach in the inning before the Rockies bullpen imploded, ultimately allowing the Marlins to tie the game and costing Feltner a chance at a win. Despite the disappointing finish, it was an encouraging outing for Feltner overall after he allowed 10 runs over 9.1 innings in his previous two starts. He's 1-2 on the season with a 5.13 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 33:10 K:BB through six starts (33.1 innings).
