Dennick cleared waivers and was assigned to Double-A Tulsa by the Dodgers, the Orange County Register reports. The Dodgers' hustle netted them an extra player from the Reds when they had to cut two players for their various roster moves.

Dennick was designated for assignment Friday. They need to free up a 40-man spot to claim Daniel Corcino, so Dennick will now be available to be claimed off waivers by other teams. The Dodgers had just claimed Dennick two days earlier, and he did not get into a game for them before being designated for assignment for the second time this week.

The Dodgers claimed Dennick off waivers from the Reds on Wednesday, the Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. A couple of poor outings with Triple-A Louisville to start the year cost Dennick his spot on the Reds' 40-man roster, but the Dodgers will welcome his aboard. In 57 appearances with Louisville last season, Dennick turned in a 2.36 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 7.1 K/9. He figures to start out with the Dodgers' Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate, but Dennick will likely be on the short list of options when the team needs a fresh bullpen arm.

Dennick was designated for assignment Monday. Dennick is with Triple-A Louisville, but will be removed from the 40-man roster to create space for the recent additions of Kyle Skipworth and Josh Smith.

Dennick was optioned to Triple-A Louisville. The career minor leaguer had a cup of coffer in September with the Reds, but he wasn't in serious contention for an Opening Day roster spot.
