Braun is in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Braun was limited to pinch-hit duty Wednesday -- and he did, indeed, record a pinch hit -- but he will be back in his customary spot in left field Thursday afternoon, and will hit third against Marlins starter Caleb Smith. After going 0-for-10 over three games between May 30 - June 1, Braun went 4-for-9 over his last three games.

Braun is not in the lineup Thursday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Braun will retreat to the bench for what appears to be a regular day off after starting the past five games, going 6-for-18 with four doubles and a pair of runs scored in those contests. In his absence, Ben Gamel is starting in left field and hitting leadoff.

Braun (knee) is starting in left field and batting third Friday against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Braun was held out of Wednesday's lineup due to the knee issue, but the fact he appeared as a pinch hitter confirmed it to be a minor injury. The 35-year-old has a hot bat over his last 19 games with a .390/.463/.627 slash line and four home runs.

Braun (knee) struck out in a pinch-hit appearance during Wednesday's 11-9 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Craig Counsell acknowledged prior to the series finale that Braun had been managing a knee issue of late, but the outfielder's ability to enter the contest off the bench suggests it's not a major concern. He'll benefit from a team off day Thursday and should have a good shot at re-entering the lineup Friday against the Phillies.

Manager Craig Counsell said Braun was withheld from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds in part due to a knee injury, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Since Braun has been managing the knee issue for the past 4-to-5 days and the Brewers were facing a quick turnaround for Wednesday's series finale, Counsell viewed it as an ideal time to give the veteran a breather. With a rest day Wednesday followed by a team off day Thursday, Braun should be good to go when the Brewers begin a three-game set with the Phillies on Friday.

Braun is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Braun will get a breather for the day game after extending his hitting streak to seven with a base knock in Tuesday's 3-0 loss. Ben Gamel will spell Braun in left field in the series finale.

Braun is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
After a big series in Philadelphia, Braun has only slowed down moderately since the Brewers' road trip moved to Atlanta. While starting the first two games at SunTrust Park, Braun went 2-for-9 with a walk and three RBI. He'll merely be receiving a breather in Sunday's matinee game while Ben Gamel checks into left field.

Braun went 3-for-4 with a walk, three RBI, and three runs in Thursday's victory over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Braun has hit well in Philadelphia his entire career, and that was no different this time around, as he went 7-for-13 (.538) in the just-completed four-game series to raise his career batting average and OPS over 38 games at Citizens Bank Park to .417 and 1.265, respectively. Braun was hitting .196 when April came to a close, but with his recent hot stretch -- which came on the heels of a torrid start to the month -- he is now hitting .277/.338/.504 on the season.

Braun went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Braun took Jerad Eickhoff deep in the third inning for his ninth home run of the season. After being out of the lineup for three straight games with a hamstring injury, Braun showed no ill effects upon his return to the lineup. While he'll still get occasional days off even when healthy, Braun remains an effective hitter in his age-35 season, posting a .256/.308/.496 line across 144 plate appearances.

Braun (hamstring) is back in the lineup Tuesday in Philadelphia.

Braun had missed three straight starts with a minor hamstring issue but appeared off the bench in all three games. He'll bat third and play left field Tuesday.
