Mariners manager Justin Hollander said Monday that Bliss (biceps) tore the meniscus in his right knee while on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma and is out for the rest of the season, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss had been on the shelf since April 9 due to a left biceps tear that required surgery, but he appeared to be on the cusp of a return from the 60-day injured list after going 5-for-13 with three doubles, four walks, two stolen bases and seven RBI through his first six rehab games with Tacoma. Unfortunately for the 25-year-old infielder, he seemingly suffered the knee injury over the weekend and required another surgery Monday. Hollander didn't provide a timeline for Bliss' return from the knee procedure, but if Bliss required a full repair of the meniscus, he could be out of action for the start of spring training.

Bliss (biceps) is starting a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss has been ahead of schedule and is expected to make his return to the majors in mid-September. He will likely need 40-to-50 at-bats during his rehab assignment before he's activated to return to Seattle.

Bliss (biceps) could begin a rehab assignment as early as next week, Zac Hereth of SeattleSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mariners plan for Bliss to get 40-to-50 at-bats in the minors before activating him from the 60-day injured list. The 25-year-old second baseman appears to be ahead of schedule in his recovery from a left biceps tear, and a return at some point in mid-September isn't out of the question. Once he's cleared to rejoin Seattle, the righty-hitting Bliss figures to work on the short side of a platoon with the lefty-hitting Cole Young at the keystone.

Bliss (biceps) took grounders on the field ahead of Saturday's game against the Rangers, per MLB.com.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss is recovering from a left biceps tear, which has kept him sidelined for nearly four months. At this point, the Mariners are hoping that the 25-year-old second baseman will be able to at least return by the end of the season, so he's increasingly unlikely to have any fantasy relevance in 2025. The lefty-hitting Cole Young should continue to serve as Seattle's primary option at the keystone in Bliss' stead.

The Mariners transferred Bliss (biceps) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss is expected to miss up to five months after he underwent surgery Friday to repair a left biceps tear, so his move to the 60-day IL won't affect his timeline. The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for infielder Ben Williamson, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Tacoma.

Bliss will undergo surgery Friday to repair his left biceps tear and is expected to be sidelined 4-to-5 months, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss suffered the injury on a swing during Tuesday's game against the Astros and was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. The 25-year-old had been serving as the Mariners' primary second baseman but is now looking at a lengthy rehab. Dylan Moore should see the bulk of the playing time at second base for Seattle moving forward.

The Mariners placed Bliss on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a left biceps tear.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss appeared to suffer the injury on a swing during Tuesday's game against the Astros. He managed to stay in that contest, but subsequent testing revealed that he suffered a tear that is likely to sideline him for a significant period of time. Miles Mastrobuoni will start at second base Wednesday, but Dylan Moore is likely to see the bulk of the starts at the keystone once Jorge Polanco (side) is able to play third base again.

It might just be a rest day for Bliss, who had started each of the previous 10 games. Miles Mastrobuoni is at second base and batting eighth for the Mariners in the rubber match of the series.

Bliss went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Monday's 4-3 win over Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Bliss crushed a two-run homer to left field that traveled 387 feet, putting the Mariners on the board in the fifth inning with his first long ball of the year. The 25-year-old won Seattle's second base job during spring training, having now started 10 of the club's first 11 games at the keystone, but he's slashing just .200/.294/.300 with three RBI and two stolen bases across 30 at-bats and has minimal fantasy appeal while functioning in the lower part of the batting order.

EDGE Analysis
Bliss got the start at second base on Opening Day on Thursday and went 0-for-2 with two walks and one stolen base. He'll begin Friday's contest in the dugout as Dylan Moore gets the start at the keystone and bats eighth against Athletics southpaw Jeffrey Springs.
