Stripling allowed one run on one hit while striking out six over six innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling was masterful in this outing, but left the game with a one-run deficit before the offense came alive after his departure to take him off the hook for a potential loss. After allowing eight runs over his previous 10 innings of work, he bounced back nicely and lowered his ERA to 3.82. He'll make his next start Friday against the Cardinals.

Stripling's next nod has been moved from Saturday to Sunday during the weekend series in Toronto, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Multiple off days this week have afforded the Dodgers the chance to give Clayton Kershaw five full days of rest and still take the mound Saturday instead of Sunday. Meanwhile, Stripling's ERA has ballooned each start to its current spot at 4.33 since he tossed 7.1 innings of one-run ball in his major league debut on April 8. However, he does boast 7.3 K/9 through five games, so he may be able to take advantage of the Jays' free-swinging ways (25.1% strikeout rate).

Stripling (0-2) allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over 4.2 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling gave up three runs in the fifth inning to break up a 2-2 tie, leading to a Dodgers loss. After starting the season with a pair of quality starts, he's now allowed 10 earned runs in his last 13.2 innings to raise his ERA to 4.33. He'll make his next start Saturday at the Blue Jays.

Stripling (0-1) gave up three earned runs on eight hits and three walks with just three strikeouts in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Stripling is trending in the wrong direction, as his ERA has risen with each start while he has failed to pitch into the seventh inning in any of his last three outings after throwing 7.1 innings of one-run ball in his debut. The 26-year-old rookie will resume the quest for his first big-league win Saturday against the Padres.

Stripling gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out four Wednesday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Although this was an ugly outing, considering he threw 76 pitches and didn't finish four frames, Stripling at least avoided the loss thanks to this game going to extra innings. He also was fortunate that the bullpen stranded a couple baserunners for him. Stripling looked good in his first two starts of the year, but this was a surprising step back against a bad team. He'll get a chance for redemption Monday against the Marlins.

Stripling (elbow) tossed four scoreless one-hit innings for Double-A Tulsa in his first outing since undergoing Tommy John surgery last April. A bout of shoulder bursitis delayed his 2015 debut a bit, but it was an impressive first start for Stripling. He was a prospect on the rise back in 2013 when he posted a 2.82 ERA and 117:30 in 127.2 innings between High-A and Double-A, so keep him on your radar for possible spot starts later this year.
