Stock signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training, per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
EDGE Analysis
Stock spent the 2022 season with the Doosan Bears of the Korea Baseball Organization and pitched to an overall 3.60 ERA with 138 strikeouts (and 83 walks) in 29 starts covering 165 innings. Control problems plagued him throughout his time in MLB-affiliated ball, and it seems that those issues haven't been fully ironed out yet. The hard-throwing 33-year-old will probably be viewed as organizational bullpen depth by Milwaukee, though he did at least prove in the KBO that he can handle a starter's workload.

Stock agreed to a one-year, $700,00 contract with the Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball Organization on Tuesday, Jee-ho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stock refused an outrighted assignment to Triple-A from the Mets in late October and elected free agency, and he'll continue his career in South Korea. The 32-year-old appeared in three games between the Mets and Cubs in 2021 and surrendered eight earned runs with a 9:9 K:BB over nine innings. However, he did find some MLB success as a rookie in 2018 with the Padres with a 2.50 ERA across 39.2 frames out of the bullpen.

Stock (hamstring) elected free agency after refusing an outright assignment to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Stock made one start for the Cubs this season and two for the Mets before missing the majority of the second half with a strained right hamstring. Between that injury and his career 4.71 ERA in 72.2 major-league innings, Stock may be stuck looking for a minor-league deal heading into his age-32 season.

The Mets transferred Stock (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The transaction opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for Rich Hill, whom the Mets acquired from the Rays earlier Friday. In addition, the roster move means that Stock won't be eligible to return from the IL until late September, after he suffered what was an apparently severe right hamstring strain. The Mets are expected to get multiple rehabbing starting pitchers back from injuries before then, so in all likelihood, Stock will remain on the shelf for the rest of the season.

Stock was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain Wednesday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stock exited Tuesday's game against the Reds due to a right hamstring issue, and he'll miss additional time after he was diagnosed with a strain Wednesday. It's not yet clear whether he'll be forced to spend more than the minimum of 10 days on the shelf, and the Mets haven't yet announced who could take his place in the rotation. Travis Blankenhorn and Nick Tropeano were recalled from Triple-A Syracuse as part of a corresponding move.

Stock was removed from Tuesday's game against the Reds with a right hamstring injury, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander threw his warm-up tosses for the second inning but left the field with the athletic trainer before the start of the frame. Stock allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout and a walk during his one inning of work. It's another tough break for an already injury-plagued Mets rotation, though the specifics of this injury remain unclear.

Stock was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to start Tuesday's game at Cincinnati, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander previously confirmed as Tuesday's starter, and he's now officially been added to the big-league roster. Stock made his lone appearance with the Mets back on July 7, and he took the loss against the Brewers after giving up two runs on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks across four innings.

Stock will be recalled from Triple-A Syracuse to start Tuesday's game against Cincinnati, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The club has yet to officially call Stock up from Triple-A, but he's in line to make the third big-league start of his career. His last outing dates back to July 7 against Milwaukee, when he gave up two runs on four hits and two walks while fanning five over four innings of work.

The Mets are "leaning toward" calling up Stock from Triple-A Syracuse to start Tuesday's game in Cincinnati, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
As one of the few healthy starting pitchers on the Mets' 40-man roster who isn't already in the big-league rotation, Stock makes for a logical candidate to start in place of Jacob deGrom (forearm), who was moved to the injured list Sunday. Stock tossed an inning in relief for Syracuse on Sunday, but his usage out of the bullpen shouldn't affect his workload too much if he does in fact receive the starting nod Tuesday. Stock previously made one spot start apiece for the Cubs and Mets earlier this summer, giving up seven runs in eight innings between those outings.

Stock was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stock started the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Milwaukee and allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five in four innings to take the loss. He'll head to the Triple-A club during the All-Star break, while Nick Tropeano will remain with the Mets after he served as the 27th man Wednesday.
