The 26-year-old made his 2015 debut in a blowout win over the Rangers on Friday, allowing one hit and striking out one in a scoreless frame. He was swapped out after the game for Matt Boyd, who is expected to start Saturday for Toronto. Rasmussen will have to bide his time and await another opportunity with the big club.

The 26-year-old Rasmussen has struggled with control throughout his professional career, and his only big-league work came last season when he allowed four earned runs over 11.1 innings.
