Weeks is out of the lineup Sunday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
No surprises here, as Weeks and his left-handed bat will take a seat against southpaw Adam Conley, who is scheduled to take the mound for the opposing squad. Peter O'Brien will get the starting nod in his stead.

Weeks will be the DH and bat cleanup in Thursday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks is enjoying the trip to an AL park, as he is serving as the DH for a second straight day. As the cleanup hitter in a solid Arizona lineup, Weeks could be a good value play for DFS players on Thursday.

Weeks will be the DH and bat fifth in Wednesday's interleague game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Playing in an AL park allows the Diamondbacks to roll out another hitter, and Weeks is getting the call on Wednesday. He's never faced Houston's scheduled starter, Mike Fiers.

Weeks went 2-for-4 with a home run and a strikeout Wednesday against Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks made the most of his spot start in the outfield, clubbing a solo shot in the fifth inning. It was his second homer in the last three games, so the 33-year-old is making the most of his limited playing time.

Weeks is in Wednesday's lineup, batting second and playing right field.
EDGE Analysis
With Jean Segura out of the lineup and Brandon Drury shifting over from right to fill the void at second, Weeks will get a spot start in the outfield. For the season, the 33-year-old is slashing .238/.283/.429.

Weeks went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran slugger averted a shutout loss for the D-Backs with a one-out, two-run shot in the ninth off Cardinals closer Trevor Rosenthal. The 33-year-old has picked it up some at the plate in May, raising his average on the season 22 points, and slashing .261/.320/.478 in 23 at-bats during the month. He's managed some solid contact as well, as six of his 10 hits in May have been for extra bases (five doubles, one homer).

Weeks is starting in left field and hitting cleanup Saturday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
This is a bit of a head scratcher, as Weeks' days as a qualified middle-of-the-order threat passed him by long ago. He is 4-for-8 lifetime against Giants starter Jake Peavy, but that is hardly enough of a sample size to deploy him with confidence in daily leagues.

Weeks will start in left field and bat cleanup Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks will draw his second start of the week in favor of Yasmany Tomas, who will miss his third straight game due to a stiff neck. With David Peralta (forearm) out of action as well, a prominent spot in the batting order has opened up, and it will be occupied by Weeks and his .765 career OPS. Brandon Drury will remain the primary utility man for the Diamondbacks, but as long as two regular outfielders remain on the shelf, Weeks could be in line for additional at-bats in the short term.

Weeks has one hit and three strikeouts in six plate appearances to start the season.
EDGE Analysis
He has been used exclusively as a pinch hitter, and the results have left a lot to be desired. It would not be surprising if the Diamondbacks opted to go in a different direction, perhaps calling up Peter O'Brien, in the not-so-distant future.

The D-backs have purchased Weeks' contract, ensuring him an Opening Day roster spot.
EDGE Analysis
Not surprisingly, Weeks will be used as a bench bat, with most of his value coming against left-handed pitching. His roster spot with the D-backs may ultimately hinge on the progress of Peter O'Brien's glove in Reno, as it's difficult to imagine a scenario in which both players are on the roster together this season.
