Blue Jays signed RHP Rich Thompson to a minor league contract. The deal includes a spring training invite. Thompson appeared in three games between the Athletics and Angels, but spent the majority of the season at the Triple-A level. The 28-year-old right-hander had a 3.00 ERA and 56/20 K/BB ratio over 54 innings, so he could surprise if given the opportunity.
