This was the first time in five starts Suarez has allowed multiple runs -- he's surrendered just four runs over 30 innings in that span. For the season, he's produced a 2.84 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 145:37 K:BB through 149 innings over 24 starts. The veteran southpaw is projected for a home start versus the Marlins next week if the Phillies continue to deploy a six-man rotation.

Over his last five appearances, he's 4-0 with a 0.88 ERA over 30.2 innings. Suarez has dropped his season ERA to 2.77 with a 140:33 K:BB through 143 innings. He's currently projected for a road matchup with the Dodgers next week.

Suarez (11-6) picked up the win Thursday against the Brewers, allowing six hits and two walks in six scoreless innings. He struck out four.

Suarez has now given up one run or zero while throwing at least five innings in three straight starts. The left-hander has also logged a quality start in three of his last four outings, and he's worked at least five frames in eight consecutive appearances as well. Suarez boasts a 2.89 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 128:32 K:BB over his 137 innings, and he's next in line for a stiff assignment against a Mets team with an .845 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the beginning of August.

Suarez didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 2-1 win over Atlanta, allowing one run on 10 hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out two.

The lefty didn't have his best stuff and dealt with runners in scoring position during every inning he worked, but Suarez was able to limit the damage and leave the mound after 92 pitches (58 strikes) with the score tied 1-1. It was an abrupt fall back to earth after he'd struck out 23 batters in 13.2 innings while winning his prior two outings, but he appears to be back on track after stumbling to a 6.59 ERA over his first five trips to the mound coming out of the All-Star break. Suarez faces a tough challenge in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Milwaukee.

Suarez (10-6) earned the win against the Nationals on Sunday, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings.

Sanchez was masterful, firing 63 of 90 pitches for strikes with 16 whiffs while racking up double-digit strikeouts for the second straight start. Despite a 4.45 ERA over five August outings, he's logged three quality starts with an impressive 32:2 K:BB in that span. On the year, the 29-year-old owns a 3.07 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 122:29 K:BB across 126 innings and lines up for a home matchup with Atlanta next weekend.

Suarez (9-6) allowed two runs on four hits and no walks over 6.2 innings to earn the win Monday against Seattle. He struck out 10.

Suarez reached the double-digit K mark for the first time this season out of 19 total starts, as he generated a solid 13 whiffs out of his 102 pitches. The Philadelphia southpaw blanked the Mariners over 6.2 frames but then gave up a solo homer and a hit-by-pitch to wrap his performance (the stranded runner subsequently scored on a homer conceded by reliever Jordan Romano). Through 119 total innings, Suarez has pitched to a 3.25 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 111:29 K:BB while allowing 10 long balls. The 29-year-old is slated to make his next start at home against the Nationals this weekend.

Suarez (8-6) took the loss Tuesday as the Phillies fell 6-1 to the Reds, coughing up six runs on 10 hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

The southpaw didn't get much run support, but Suarez kept his team in the game until the sixth inning, when a leadoff walk was followed by four straight Cincinnati hits to break things open. Suarez was mostly undone by a four-run fourth inning, and his velocity was down on all of his offerings as he generated just six whiffs on 95 pitches.
