Dickey (4-6) allowed two runs on nine hits over 5.1 innings in a victory against the Tigers on Wednesday. He also walked one and struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
Nick Castellanos hit a two-run homer in the first, and that was all Dickey would allow. Detroit had traffic all day against Dickey, but poor base running, double plays and strikeouts with men in scoring position prevented the Tigers from scoring more. Dickey has won his last two games, having allowed just two runs over 12 innings. He is 4-6 with a 4.15 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 53 strikeouts in 78 innings. His next start will be Monday against Philadelphia.

Dickey (3-6) gave up two hits, one run (none earned) and five walks over 6.2 innings in Friday's 5-2 victory over the Red Sox. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer managed to hand out five free passes despite notching first-pitch strikes on 22 of 28 hitters, but pitched very well otherwise against the Red Sox for the second time this week. The 41 year-old had carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning against Boston on May 29 before running into trouble, but managed to log almost seven full frames Friday without surrendering any earned runs. It was a stellar outing by any stretch, but particularly impressive against one of the most lethal offenses in the majors. Dickey has now lowered his ERA from 5.73 to 4.21 since May 2, and will next take the hill on Wednesday afternoon versus the Tigers.

Dickey will take the mound in Friday's series opener against the Red Sox, Ben Nicholson-Smith of sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dickey was originally slated to pitch Saturday's matchup in Boston. However, the Blue Jays have since opted to to switch his and and Marcus Stroman's spot in the order. It is unclear what caused the Blue Jays to make this switch, but there will be no knuckleball matchup with the Red Sox's Steven Wright.

Dickey carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning Sunday against the Red Sox, but then ran out of steam and couldn't make it out of that inning. He ended up allowing three runs on three hits and four walks, striking out one and leaving with a no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
As Dickey alluded, all in all it was a pretty good effort against a good team. "I didn't really have a swing-and-miss knuckleball today, but I did have a really hard one and it was moving late and off the barrel enough that they were hitting pieces of it," Dickey said. "And then a couple singles, a walk, and next thing you know, you've given up a couple of runs. That's a really good hitting ballclub, so I'm not going to give in to their hitters."

Dickey (2-6) allowed four runs and five hits over the course of 6.2 innings against the Yankees on Tuesday, walking two and striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer was squared up pretty nicely by the Yankees offense, and he continues to have problems with the long ball. Dickey has surrendered home runs in four of the past five games, and the 42-year-old continues to struggle in what has been a disappointing season for him.

Dickey (2-5) gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits -- three of which were homers -- over six innings in a loss against the Rays on Wednesday. He struck out six and walked just one.
EDGE Analysis
His knuckler floated over the middle of the plate in this one, particularly during the middle innings. Dickey's typically been homer-prone, but he'd actually been doing a good job limiting them early on this year, with just five in his first 48 frames. However, he's simply become too hittable in his old age, unable to fool hitters with that knuckleball often enough anymore. Dickey still turns in strong starts here and there, but at this point, he's become too inconsistent to trust outside deeper fantasy formats.

Coming off his best start of the season (eight scoreless innings against the Rangers on Friday), Dickey (2-4) will take the hill opposite Rays starter Jake Odorizzi on Wednesday in Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The knuckleballer looks like a legitimate fantasy option for the first time this season. The veteran had a terrible April (6.75 ERA in five starts), but has looked good through his first three starts of May (1.27 ERA). One of Dickey's wins this season came against the Rays in his first start of the year.

Dickey (2-4) pitched eight innings of three-hit, shutout ball while walking one in Friday's 5-0 victory over the Rangers. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer put together his third straight quality start, consistently flummoxing the potent Rangers lineup. Dickey induced 14 swings-and-misses, as he had his trademark pitch working in vintage fashion. The six whiffs were the most for Dickey since he'd recorded a season-high nine versus the Red Sox on April 9, and the three hits were the lowest that he'd allowed in a start all season. With his most recent trio of solid appearances, the 41-year-old has lowered his ERA from 6.75 to 4.31.

Dickey (1-4) surrendered six hits, four runs (two earned) and a walk over seven innings in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran knuckleballer turned in a second consecutive quality start, but had the misfortune of being matched up against ace Clayton Kershaw. He received precious little run support for the third straight start as a result, and saw his record drop to 1-4 despite having pitched well enough to win in three of his last four defeats. The 41-year-old has experienced a couple of forgettable outings this season as well, and is therefore very much a hit-or-miss option in both season-long and daily formats each time he takes the mound.

Dickey held the Rangers to one run in 6.1 innings in a no decision Monday night. He allowed six hits and walked three while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
Dickey has had a rough go of things this season, owning a 6.00 ERA and 1.61 WHIP in six starts. Once a prolific strikeout pitcher, Dickey has bested four strikeouts in a game just once this year. His next start will come on Saturday against the Dodgers.
