The Giants released Sanders on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders reached the big leagues for the first time last season as a member of the Rays and made eight appearances, but he's now been cut by two organizations while pitching exclusively at the Triple-A level. Between stops with the Orioles' and Giants' top affiliates, Sanders has accrued a 5.79 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 23.1 innings.

Sanders signed a minor-league contract Thursday with the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders will be stationed at Triple-A Sacramento for now, but he could eventually get an opportunity in San Francisco given the team's poor bullpen work. The 27-year-old right-hander posted a 3.07 ERA with 12 strikeouts across his first 14.2 major-league innings last season with the Rays. However, his minor-league numbers from 2022 weren't nearly as encouraging with 22 earned runs allowed in 27 outings.

Sanders was outrighted to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll remain in Baltimore's organization upon clearing waivers after the Orioles designated him for assignment Saturday. The Orioles previously claimed Sanders off waivers from the Rays on Aug. 24, but he pitched exclusively at Triple-A Norfolk before losing his spot on the 40-man roster.

Sanders was designated for assignment by the Orioles on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders was sent to the minors Aug. 25, and he'll lose his spot on the 40-man roster after the Orioles claimed Anthony Castro off waivers from the Guardians on Saturday. It seems likely that Sanders will remain at Triple-A Norfolk if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

The Orioles optioned Sanders to Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Baltimore didn't have an immediate opening for Sanders in the big-league bullpen after claiming him off waivers from Tampa Bay on Wednesday, so he'll begin his tenure with his new organization at the Triple-A level. Sanders previously made eight appearances at the big-league level for the Rays, accruing a 3.07 ERA and 12:3 K:BB in 14.2 innings.

Sanders was claimed off waivers by the Orioles on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders was designated for assignment by the Rays on Monday but will land a spot on Baltimore's 40-man roster. He won't be available for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, and it's not yet clear whether he'll join the Orioles' bullpen since he was at Triple-A Durham prior to being cast off the Rays' 40-man roster. He's posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.37 WHIP in 30 innings over 25 appearances (one start) at the Triple-A level this year.

The Rays designated Sanders for assignment Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders ceded his spot on the 40-man roster to right-hander Nick Anderson (elbow), who was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Durham. If he passes through waivers, Sanders will stick around in Durham with Anderson and work as a multi-inning option out of the bullpen. Sanders sports a 3.07 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 14.2 innings with the big club this season, but he's been less successful over a larger sample at Triple-A (5.40 ERA, 1.37 WHIP in 30 innings).

The Rays optioned Sanders to Triple-A Durham on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders likely wouldn't have been available out of the bullpen for the next day or two after he covered 1.2 innings and tossed 44 pitches in Sunday's 10-5 loss to the Reds, so the Rays elected to swap him off the active roster for a fresh arm. Right-hander Luke Bard was recalled from Durham in a corresponding move.

Sanders was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Sunday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders was demoted to Durham on Monday but will rejoin Tampa Bay among a flurry of roster moves. The 27-year-old has appeared in seven games for the Rays this year and has pitched well with a 1.38 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB over 13 innings.

Sanders was returned to Triple-A Durham on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Sanders joined the Rays' bullpen for their weekend series in Toronto, and he tossed three scoreless innings over two appearances against the Blue Jays. Although he'll remain on the taxi squad, the right-hander will be cast off the active roster after Brooks Raley and Ryan Thompson were reinstated from the restricted list Monday.
