Wisdom went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and three runs in Friday's 10-5 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
A two-run lead in the seventh quickly expanded to seven as Wisdom hit a two-run shot immediately after Kris Bryant's three-run double. Coupled with a first-inning single, the 29-year-old enjoyed a very nice afternoon and has now gone 5-for-23 since the start of July with four RBI. Wisdom has struck out frequently, though, fanning eight times in that span. Friday's performance improved his season-long average to .279.

Wisdom (neck/eye) went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 2-1 loss to Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Wisdom got aboard in the sixth inning on a fielder's choice and stole second, but he was left on base. The infielder had hit safely in four straight games prior to Friday. For the season, the 29-year-old owns a .283/.347/.674 slash line with 11 home runs, 19 RBI, 18 runs scored and two steals, although he rapidly cooled off after a hot start to June.

Wisdom (neck/eye) is in the starting lineup Friday against the Reds, batting sixth as the third baseman.
EDGE Analysis
Wisdom suffered an eye contusion and also came away with a stiff neck after colliding with Tyrone Taylor during Wednesday's game against the Brewers. The issues don't appear to be too serious, as he'll stay in the starting nine for the series opener in Cincinnati.

Wisdom is managing right neck tightness and a left eye contusion after he exited Wednesday's loss to the Brewers in the second inning, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Initial tests indicate that Wisdom has avoided a concussion after he collied with Tyrone Taylor during a play at first base, but the infielder will still have to manage the eye and neck issues in coming days. He can be considered day-to-day for the time being, with further update likely coming from the Cubs later Wednesday or early Thursday.

Wisdom went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored before exiting in the second inning of Wednesday's game against the Brewers after being involved in a collision at first base, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wisdom, who was drawing the start at first base in place of the injured Anthony Rizzo (back), was pulled off the bag and into the running path of Brewers outfielder Tyrone Taylor on an errant throw from Jake Arrieta. In the collision with Taylor, Wisdom appeared to absorb the brunt of the damage, as he was on the ground for several moments before getting up under his own power. The Cubs will presumably put Wisdom through concussion tests and additional medical evaluations before providing an update on his condition.

Wisdom went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run in Monday's 14-4 loss to the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Wisdom pinch hit in the seventh inning for Kyle Hendricks and slammed a homer off Brad Boxberger to tie the game. The 29-year-old has been a nice surprise for the Cubs as an injury fill-in, slashing .277/.341/.699 in 91 plate appearances. However, he's slowed down over his last 11 games, batting just .154 in that span.

Wisdom went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-1 win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
After a scorching start to the season, Wisdom entered the contest having gone 5-for-30 with only one home run over his past 11 games. He bounced back a bit Tuesday, slugging a solo homer to center field in the eighth inning. Despite the recent rough stretch, Wisdom still has a fine .284/.346/.716 slash line on the season and has racked up 10 homers along with 14 RBI in 81 plate appearances.

Wisdom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
With the Cubs getting healthier in the outfield over the past two weeks, Kris Bryant has been spending more time at third base, which has resulted in Wisdom losing out on at-bats. Wisdom will be on the bench for the fourth time in six games, and the Cubs may view him as only a short-side platoon player when the team is relatively healthy.

Wisdom, who entered the game when Kris Bryant (hand) left in the first inning, went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant took a pitch off his right hand in his first plate appearance and left the game, though X-rays later came back negative and he was diagnosed with a contusion. Wisdom has been a pleasant surprise for the Cubs and could see an uptick in playing time if Bryant misses a few games to nurse his injury, but it doesn't seem like a serious issue, so the former should remain in a reserve role moving forward.

Wisdom went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old continues to demonstrate that the power he showed in the minors can play in the majors as well. Wisdom has gone yard nine times in 20 games since being called up in late May, although his overall .333/.390/.870 slash line is unsustainable, considering his 35.6 percent strikeout rate and .375 BABIP.
