Haniger left Tuesday's game against the Cardinals after being hit by a pitch, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports. He went 0-for-1 with the HBP before exiting.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger was replaced on base by Casey Schmitt. Until the Giants provide further updates on Haniger's status, he should be considered day-to-day.

Haniger isn't starting Friday against the Cubs, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger has cooled off considerably over the past seven days, slashing just .136/.269/.182 in that span. He'll sit Friday in favor of Blake Sabol, who gets the start in left field while batting seventh.

Haniger went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 14-4 win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger has a trio of three-hit efforts over his last four games, and five multi-hit contests in his last 10. He had a pair of RBI doubles as part of the Giants' eight-run seventh inning. Haniger has been a big part of the team's recent success -- he was hitting just .172 as recently as May 16 and is now up to .255 through 28 contests this year. He's added four home runs, 19 RBI, 16 runs scored, six doubles and a stolen base.

Haniger went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger's second homer in as many days provided the Giants' margin of victory in a low-scoring contest. It was also his second straight three-hit effort, and his fourth multi-hit game in his last eight. After starting slowly following a season-opening stint on the injured list with an oblique strain, it appears the outfielder is rounding back into form. He's slashing .237/.265/.402 with four homers, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored and a stolen base over 26 games while seeing a near-everyday role in left field.

Haniger went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 15-1 rout of the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old snapped a 19-game power drought with the performance, and Haniger's only two other homers this season came at high altitude during a two-game set in Mexico City at the end of April. During the month of May, he's slashing a weak .195/.215/.273 with a 32.9 percent strikeout rate against a 2.5 percent walk rate.

Haniger went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger was busiest in the sixth inning, driving in the go-ahead run with an RBI single before scoring on Patrick Bailey's productive out. The steal was Haniger's first of the season, though he's typically not a huge speed threat -- he's never had more than eight steals in a season, and this one was his first since 2021. The outfielder is slashing .211/.228/.329 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 10 runs scored and three doubles through 21 contests.

Haniger is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger had a day off Sunday, too, as he carries a woeful .491 OPS into action Wednesday. Blake Sabol will pick up the start in left field Wednesday in Haniger's stead.

Haniger is out of the lineup against the Diamondbacks on Sunday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Haniger is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Nationals, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants are going left-handed hitter heavy against Josiah Gray, so Haniger will get a day off. Blake Sabol is in left field.

Haniger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger may not want to leave Mexico City -- he hit a homer in both of the Giants' games south of the border. The outfielder has now gone 5-for-16 (.313) through his first five contests of the year. He's added five RBI, five runs scored, two homers, a double and two walks through 19 plate appearances.
