Haniger (groin) was released from the hospital Saturday following surgery to repair a ruptured testicle, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger suffered the injury when he fouled the ball off himself in Thursday's game. The outfielder isn't expected to even be able to resume any type of baseball activities for the next 2-to-3 weeks, so a full recovery timeline will likely remain elusive for the foreseeable future.

Haniger (lower body) underwent a surgical procedure Friday and is without a timetable for a return, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier in the day with a ruptured testicle, and he evidently had to go under the knife. While it's unclear as to how long he'll be on the shelf, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports that manager Scott Servais expects that Haniger won't be able to even resume baseball activities for at least 2-to-3 weeks.

Haniger landed on the 10-day injured list with a ruptured testicle Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger was forced to leave Thursday's game against the Astros after hitting himself with a foul ball in a rather painful area. The injury is evidently severe enough for him to miss at least 10 days. Taylor Scott was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move.

Updating a previous report, the injury that forced Haniger's exit from Thursday's game against the Astros has been diagnosed as a testicular contusion, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger had to be removed from the extra-innings loss in the seventh inning after fouling a ball off himself, and the resulting injury has now been made clear. Manager Scott Servais explained in his post-game press conference that Haniger was in the midst of getting tests done to determine the severity of the issue. Until those results are revealed, Haniger should be considered day-to-day ahead of the opening installment of a three-game series versus the Angels on Friday.

Haniger was removed from Thursday's game against the Astros with a lower-body contusion, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger apparently sustained the injury after fouling a ball off himself during his third at-bat. Prior to being replaced by Mac Williamson in the seventh inning, the outfielder was 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's series opener against the Angels.

Haniger went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and two runs scored overall in a loss to Houston on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger took Wade Miley deep in the third inning to drive home Seattle's first run. Though his overall production is down after a breakout season in 2018, Haniger has now smashed 15 home runs this season and leads the Mariners with 114 total bases. Unfortunately, he continues to strike out at a torrid pace, with his 77 whiffs ranking as the third-highest total in the majors.

Haniger went 1-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger took Drew Smyly deep in the sixth inning to record his 14th homer of the season. Earlier in the contest, he had driven in a run on a fielder's choice, giving him a productive day despite also striking out three times. While Haniger has a poor .228 average across 251 plate appearances, he has provided plenty of counting stats this season, scoring 42 runs and driving in 31 across 56 games.

Haniger will head to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger is just 1-for-8 at the plate in his last two matchups, so he'll catch a breather Tuesday night. Jay Bruce will man right field and hit seventh with Haniger on the bench.

Haniger went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the A's.
EDGE Analysis
His fifth-inning solo shot off Mike Fiers gave Haniger 13 homers on the year. The outfielder has had a tough time stringing together hits in May, managing just a .213 (17-for-80) batting average through 21 games, but he's been able to maintain solid fantasy value with his power.

Haniger went 2-for-5 with two runs in a loss to the Rangers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger is showing some signs of rediscovering his stroke over the second half of May. The outfielder is now hitting .296 with a double, three home runs, five RBI, seven walks and eight runs over his last eight games, a stretch that's resulted in a 10-point boost in his season average.
