Haniger (groin) was released from the hospital Saturday following surgery to repair a ruptured testicle, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Haniger suffered the injury when he fouled the ball off himself in Thursday's game. The outfielder isn't expected to even be able to resume any type of baseball activities for the next 2-to-3 weeks, so a full recovery timeline will likely remain elusive for the foreseeable future.

A ruptured testicle?!? Wha’ th’ huck??? Didn’t even wanna guess how that happened, but hoped it was a line drive instead of a jealous girlfriend wielding a baseball bat. Then actually read the EDGE deal and saw he fouled it off one of his ‘nads. (((((YEOW!!!)))))

I can relate...sort of. I used to worry about that kind of thing when I played ball of any kind ‘cause mine always DRAGGED the ground!!!
