Moustakas went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old has been one of the few bright spots in the Royals' lineup so far in 2017, and Moustakas is now slashing .296/.333/.634 through 19 games with seven homers, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored.

Moustakas is not in the lineup Friday against the Rangers, Joel Goldberg of FOX Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old is producing one of his best seasons of his career at the plate, but he'll head to the bench for a night off with southpaw Cole Hamels taking the ball for Texas. Cheslor Cuthbert will man the hot corner in his stead.

Moustakas went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 2-0 victory over the A's.
EDGE Analysis
The third baseman plated his seventh RBI of the year with a fifth-inning infield single off Madison Bumgarner that broke a scoreless tie. Moustakas' third multi-hit effort of the season helped boost his average to .300 and extended his on-base streak to seven games. He's off to a strong start in 2017, and if still available, the 28-year-old should be picked off waivers in most formats.

Moustakas is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Moustakas has started six games in a row, so it was likely time for a routine maintenance day. Cheslor Cuthbert will man the hot corner in his stead.

Moustakas went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to Houston.
EDGE Analysis
Moustakas' sixth-inning blast was his third through the team's first six games this year. Unfortunately for the third baseman, all three of his homers have been solo shots. Owners can't really complain, though, considering he's off to a blazing start. Moustakas is 8-for-23 (.348) while hitting safely in every game so far, including Saturday's contest in which he singled in his only at-bat as a pinch hitter.

Moustakas is not in the lineup Saturday against Houston.
EDGE Analysis
After starting the first four games of the season, Moustakas will take a seat Saturday as the Royals go with Cheslor Cuthbert at third base. Moustakas is 5-for-17 with two solo home runs thus far in 2017.

Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Monday's 7-1 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Moustakas staked the Royals to a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning with a 365-foot blast off Ervin Santana, but the Kansas City offense managed just one hit the rest of the game. Though Moustakas profiles as one of the better sources of power on the roster, manager Ned Yost chose to deploy him in the two hole Monday, which could limit the third baseman's RBI opportunities if he remains a fixture in that spot in the batting order for the long haul.

Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Padres in Cactus League play.
EDGE Analysis
With four homers already this spring, Moustakas looks to have retained the power he displayed early last season before suffering a torn ACL, but he's displayed little in the way of plate discipline. He's struck out in a quarter of his at-bats and has walked just three times, resulting in an uninspiring .250 on-base percentage. Moustakas' career .303 mark in that category carries more weight than his spring number, but it nonetheless illustrates the lesser value he carries in OBP leagues.

Moustakas (knee) is expected to make his Cactus League debut at third base on Tuesday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moustakas, who underwent ACL surgery last July, has been eased back into team workouts this spring and now will finally get his shot on the field. He appeared in just 27 games last season, hitting seven home runs before suffering his season-ending injury. Manager Ned Yost has reiterated that Moustakas will be completely ready by Opening Day, and Tuesday seems to be a major step in that process.

Moustakas (knee) has been participating in spring training workouts.
EDGE Analysis
Heading into spring training, Moustakas said that he felt as though he was nearing full health after tearing his ACL early in the 2016 campaign. He'd indicated that the club was going to gradually ease him back over the course of their early workouts, but all signs point to the 28-year-old third baseman being ready for action once Opening Day rolls around.
