Mike O'Connor has been suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball for a positive PED test. O'Connor signed a minor league contract with the Twins back in December but was released in May after posting a 4.86 ERA and 1.74 WHIP across 16 2/3 innings of relief at Triple-A Rochester. The 32-year-old left-hander might struggle to make his way back into affiliated ball.

Twins signed LHP Mike O'Connor to a minor league contract. O'Connor posted a 3.73 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 95/28 K/BB ratio in 108 2/3 innings this past summer for the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate. The 32-year-old seems doubtful to get a shot at the major league level with the Twins.
