Brantley went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two strikeouts in Tuesday's contest against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
After spending a majority of the past year rehabbing from shoulder surgery, Brantley has looked good through the team's first two games of 2017. He's 3-for-9 with a pair of RBI, although he's also gone down on strikes in three at-bats. It wouldn't be a major surprise to see the outfielder left off the lineup card in one of the team's upcoming games as skipper Terry Francona carefully manages his star left fielder's return.

Manager Terry Francona says Brantley has made the Indians' 25-man roster, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The news comes as no surprise, as Brantley is healthy and swinging a hot bat -- slashing .385/.429/.692 through eight games. Assuming he gets the Opening Day start next week, it will be the outfielder's first major league start since May 9 of last season.

Brantley is on track to make Cleveland's Opening Day roster, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Francona made it clear that Brantley is in a good spot in terms of health, and his spring performance has done nothing but reinforce that claim. Over seven games he's 9-for-23 (.391) with two home runs and two doubles.

Brantley is not in the Indians' Cactus League lineup Friday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
No reason for concern was reported, so Cleveland likely is taking it easy with Brantley, who's 3-for-9 through his first three spring games following his debut earlier in the week. Getting him a bit more rest late in spring training and possibly earlier in the year is prudent management as he returns from his shoulder rehab. It may limit his value early in 2017, but his potential of returning to MVP-candidate-caliber form is increasing his fantasy draft stock.

Brantley (shoulder) started in left field and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in his Cactus League season debut Monday.
EDGE Analysis
He left for a pinch-runner in the fifth inning, but Brantley's debut appears to have occurred without setback. The Indians do not have a game Tuesday, but Brantley is expected to be back in the lineup Wednesday against Colorado, according to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Brantley (shoulder) will start in left field in Monday's Cactus League game against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
It will be the Cactus League debut for Brantley, who has been eased along slowly in his return from shoulder surgery. After appearing in minor-league games last week without any apparent issues, Brantley will move up to the big club. He'll likely get in extensive at-bats over the next two weeks as he prepares for the April 3 season opener against the Rangers.

Brantley (shoulder) is expected to start in left field Monday against the Dodgers
EDGE Analysis
Coming off of an injury-plagued 2016 campaign, Brantley has spent this year's spring training stint rehabbing his injured shoulder. Monday's return to action will mark Brantley's major league spring training debut and puts him in line to be ready for Opening Day.

Brantley (shoulder) will play in a minor league game Saturday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After two days off, Brantley will test his shoulder out again for five innings. Cleveland is taking it slow with Brantley, but he is on pace to get back into Cactus League action before spring training ends, and as such, unless he suffers a setback, there's a good chance Brantley suits up for Cleveland on Opening Day.

Brantley (shoulder) went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI in his minor league spring debut Wednesday, Paul Hoynes of of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brantley slowly progressing through his rehab, testing the health of his surgically repaired right shoulder in minor league games before moving on. He said he felt good afterwards, which is good news, but his status for Opening Day remains a question mark. The 29-year-old will appear in another minor league game on Friday, and if all goes well, he could see himself in Cactus League games fairly soon.

Indians manager Terry Francona said that Brantley (shoulder) would play in minor-league games Wednesday and Friday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brantley was able to take part in simulated games last week without issue, so he's now slated to test out the health of his surgically-repaired right shoulder in non-controlled game settings. The 29-year-old certainly seems to be trending in the right direction, but his status for Opening Day is still something of a question mark. Even if Brantley is able to demonstrate in spring action that he's good to go for the start of the regular season, he's fraught with plenty of risk in fantasy drafts, as the shoulder procedure leaves serious concern that he'll be able to regain the All-Star form he displayed in 2014 and 2015.
