Brantley went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run during Sunday's win over Kansas City.
EDGE Analysis
Brantley has started 40 of 48 games this season and sports a .304/.375/.456 slash line with five homers, 21 RBI, five stolen bases and 21 runs. After being limited to just 11 games in 2016, the outfielder's five-category production has Brantley back on the radar as a set-and-forget asset in the majority of settings. Hitting in the heart of the dangerous Cleveland lineup is a cushy fantasy setup, too.

Brantley (ankle) is back in the lineup Friday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Brantley injured his ankle last weekend but it seems four full days of rest -- with Thursday's team off day -- provided sufficient maintenance. He is slated to return to left field and the three-hole to face right-hander Ervin Santana, and while Brantley has enjoyed limited success against Santana in the past (8-for-33), he is beating up on right-handed pitching to the tune of a .297/348/.547 line this season.

Brantley (ankle) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Brantley is not starting Wednesday. The Indians have Thursday off, so Brantley will aim to return to action for Friday's outing against Minnesota. With Brantley out, Yandy Diaz will get the nod to start in left field Wednesday.

Brantley (ankle) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise, as Brantley was seen in a walking boot Monday. While manager Terry Francona initially slapped an optimistic "day or two" timeline on the injury, it's looking like a realistic return date for Brantley would be Friday's series opener against the Twins, after the Indians' off day Thursday.

Brantley (ankle) was wearing a protective boot on Monday and likely won't play in the current series against Toronto, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Francona provided an optimistic "day or two" timeline to open the week, but that's unlikely to hold true. A Friday activation for the weekend series against Minnesota is looking like the best possible outcome for Brantley. Yandy Diaz, who was called up Monday after hitting .395 with Triple-A Columbus, will pick up the available at-bats in the interim.

Brantley (ankle) is not in the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
This comes as no surprise, as Brantley exited Sunday's contest against the Royals with a sprained ankle and is expected to miss at least a day or two. While the sprain isn't thought to be anything overly serious, the Indians will tread cautiously with the 30-year-old after he only played in 11 games last season due to injuries. With an off day coming up on Thursday, it wouldn't be too surprising to see the Indians hold him out until then to afford him some extra rest. Recently recalled Yandy Diaz will draw the start in left field for the game.

Brantley's manager, Terry Francona, said the outfielder's injury is not considered overly serious, and shouldn't cost him to miss more than "a day or two," Robert Falkoff of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The collective "Phew!" could be heard across the fantasy world thanks to the skipper's post-game comments. "It's not the dreaded high-ankle sprain," Francona said. "He hit first [base] hard. Hopefully, it's a day or two." Brantley, who played just 11 games last season before injuries shelved him for good, is off to a strong start to 2017. He's hitting .283/.343/.475 with five home runs, 17 RBI and 15 runs through his first 26 games. Owners in weekly formats may want to think about sitting Brantley before rosters lock Monday. Even though Francona mentioned a short timeline, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Brantley gets a few extra days to rest as the club was already -- even before Sunday's injury -- being very cautious with the 30-year-old.

Brantley exited Sunday's game against the Royals early with a sprained right ankle, Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brantley was hitless in his two at-bats before being forced to exit the game in the fifth inning with a sprained ankle. The veteran outfielder has an injury-plagued past, but is off to a healthy, productive start to the 2017 season. It'd be a big blow to the Indians if Brantley ends up on the disabled list, though the severity of the sprain is not yet know. We'll await further details from the Indians on that front.

Brantley will head to the bench after his 10-game hitting streak came to an end Thursday against the Astros. Brandon Guyer is batting third and playing left field in his stead.

Brantley went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and three RBI in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
He now has a 10-game hitting streak, over which Brantley is batting .381 (16-for-42) with four homers, nine RBI, 11 runs and two steals. After a lost 2016, the 29-year-old looks completely healthy and back in top form.
