Brown (0-5) took the loss Sunday against San Francisco, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks across three innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Both runs charged to Brown came via the long ball -- he gave up a solo shot to Willy Adames to lead off the game before Rafael Devers led off the fourth with another homer. It's a tough way to finish the season for Brown, who allowed one run while striking out 10 in his last time out against the Mariners. Overall, Brown posted a 7.36 ERA with a 1.83 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB across 25.2 innings in his first seven major-league starts.

Brown did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing a run on two hits and two walks over five innings in a 4-3 loss against the Mariners. He struck out 10.
EDGE Analysis
Brown delivered the best outing of his young MLB career, working five innings and notching double-digit strikeouts for the first time, though he came away without a win. The right-hander entered the game with a rough line through his first five starts -- a 9.17 ERA, 2.09 WHIP and more walks (13) than strikeouts (11). The 25-year-old is lined up to make one more start in the regular-season finale Sunday against the Giants.

Brown completed four innings against Miami on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out one batter in a no-decision.
EDGE Analysis
This was far from a strong performance by Brown, but he did keep his name out of the loss column for the first time through five major-league starts. Aside from that, it was a grind for the rookie right-hander, as he threw just 44 of 75 pitches for strikes and issued a career-high four free passes. Brown particularly struggled in his fourth and final frame, as he allowed four baserunners -- all with two outs -- while giving up a pair of runs. He's at a 9.17 ERA through 17.2 innings and is projected to face the Mariners in Seattle for his next start.

Brown (0-4) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings to take the loss Thursday versus the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
This was Brown's longest start and also featured the fewest runs allowed of his four major-league outings so far. However, the Rockies mustered just four hits in the whole game, giving the rookie right-hander next to nothing for offensive support. Brown is now at a 9.88 ERA, 2.12 WHIP and 10:9 K:BB across 13.2 innings in the majors. He'll remain tough to trust in fantasy for the rest of the campaign. Brown's next start is tentatively projected to be at home versus the Marlins.
