Moore has been reinstated from the disabled list and will start Thursday, Bill Chastain of MLB.com reports.
Moore had made five rehab appearances and pasted a 24:8 KK:BB over 21.1 innings. He may not get too many innings as he eases back into his role, but his potential for strikeouts could help his value.

Moore (elbow) will start Thursday against Cleveland, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports.
Monday's announcement simply confirmed previous expectations that Moore's rehab assignment was complete. In five starts between High-A Charlotte and Triple-A Durham, Moore posted a 24:8 K:BB over 21.1 innings during his rehab assignment. The Rays will likely monitor his workload closely from start to start, but Moore's strikeout potential makes him an intriguing lottery ticket in situations where he's currently available on the waiver wire.

Moore (elbow) is still on track to rejoin the Rays rotation at some point this week, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Though manager Kevin Cash was unwilling to confirm that Moore would be back on the mound Thursday against the Indians for his season debut, it seems clear at this point that the lefty's rehab assignment has come to an end. He covered five innings and threw 96 pitches during his fifth minor-league outing Saturday with Triple-A Durham, with his fastball clocking in the 90-to-91 mph range. With the Rays demoting Matt Andriese to Triple-A Durham on Sunday, the team has ostensibly opened a spot for Moore, but it remains to be seen what exact date the Rays have in mind for him to take the hill. Both Moore and Jake Odorizzi, who is returning from a strained oblique, are on the same pitching schedule, though Odorizzi looks to be a week behind. It's possible that Moore could have his first turn moved back to Friday so his schedule doesn't overlap with Odorizzi once both players are back on the Tampa Bay roster.

Manager Kevin Cash indicated that Moore (elbow) may not start Thursday for the Rays, Roger Mooney of The Tampa Tribune reports.
Earlier reports indicated Moore would probably be slated to rejoin the rotation Thursday if the rehab start Saturday went well, but things must have changed. It's unclear whether Cash feels Moore won't be ready to rejoin the rotation, or if it's related to his scheduled Friday start being moved to Saturday because of rain, but his return date still appears up in the air at this point.

Moore (elbow) had his rehab start rained out and will pitch Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader instead, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Topkin speculates Moore would return Thursday if the rehab start goes without a hitch, which is a reasonable expectation at this point. Expect Moore to try to pitch a full start with a higher pitch count. When he does come back, there are several members of the rotation that could possibly be demoted, like Alex Colome and Matt Andriese.

Moore (elbow) is slated to throw 90 pitches in his rehab outing at Triple-A Durham on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The fact that Moore is being stretched out to 90 pitches is a good sign that he's very close to being activated from the disabled list. In fact, Moore's outing Friday is expected to be his last rehab appearance if everything goes well. There should be more clarification on his status following Friday's start.

Moore (elbow) will begin a minor league rehab assignment Friday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
After throwing a successful bullpen session Tuesday morning, Moore has been given the all clear to begin a rehab stint. It's unclear to which minor league level he'll be sent, but he'll likely require multiple rehab appearances, as the team is not expecting Moore back until after the All-Star break.

Moore (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Tuesday at Tropicana Field and will have his options discussed after, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The way Moore feels and looks could be important in determining if he needs one or two more rehab starts, so definitely check out how it goes. Moore seemed to have his first four rehab starts go off without a hitch, but the Rays have still pushed a possible extra sixth start. The way the season has gone for their rotation's health, you can't blame them.

Moore (elbow) struck out seven batters and allowed three runs over 5.1 innings in Sunday's rehab start for Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Moore allowed two long balls during the outing, but more important, he made it through 92 pitches without incident. He'll likely only need one or two more rehab starts, putting him on track for a return before the All-Star break.

Moore (elbow) will be stretched out to 90 pitches Sunday in his fourth rehab start and first at Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
If Moore is going to do five rehab starts as Topkin reports, he should be back by the All-Star break. The focus now is on hoping for no setbacks and looking for indications that Moore's velocity is back and can hold for the remainder of the season. If he can reach near his old speed, the starter-strapped Rays will be thankful.
