Moore threw six solid innings Tuesday, allowing a pair of earned runs on just three hits but five walks while striking out seven Marlins hitters.
EDGE Analysis
Despite throwing his second straight quality start since being traded to the Giants, Moore was outdueled by Miami starter Tom Koehler, who threw seven shutout innings. Moore has at times seemed unhittable over the two starts, allowing just six hits over 12 innings. Yet he has struggled with his command, walking 11 over that timeframe. Moore has become accustomed to finding success despite walking hitters over the course of his career, as evidenced by his career 3.87 ERA, which is practically equalled by his 3.86 BB:9 rate. He'll look to throw more strikes Monday against the Pirates.

Moore gave up two runs on three hits and six walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision against the Phillies on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While Moore wasn't particularly sharp in his Giants debut, he was able to limit the damage from the six free passes, as the Phillies were unable to barrel him up. He allowed just one hit over his first five frames Thursday, and now hasn't allowed more than five hits in any of his last four starts. Moore's stock figures to trend up as he gets more time to work with Buster Posey and pitching coach Dave Righetti.

Moore will join the Giants in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Moore will be with the Giants, he's not going to make a start Tuesday. At this point in time, the team has yet to announce how they'll adjust their rotation to make room for the southpaw. Moore has improved in recent contests, as he's posted a 1.60 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over his last five starts (33.2 innings).

The Rays have traded Moore to the Giants, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore will be the second left-hander in the Giants rotation, joining ace Madison Bumgarner. Moore was having a nice bounce-back campaign for the Rays, posting a 4.08 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 109 strikeouts in 130 innings. The 27-year-old and former top prospect will head to the National League and pitch half of his games in pitcher-friendly AT&T Park. He should be scooped up in all fantasy leagues in which he was dropped.

Moore (7-7) allowed just one unearned run on four hits, five strikeouts and four walks over 6.2 innings in a victory over the Dodgers on Wednesday afternoon.
EDGE Analysis
After two strong months to begin the year, Moore blew up in June, but he's back to his early season form in July. This month, he's 3-2 with a 2.44 ERA, which is easily his best ERA of any month this season. His fantasy value will greatly depend on whether he's traded before the deadline or not, but it's a great sign he's pitching so well. If he stays in Tampa Bay, his next start will be Tuesday versus the Royals.

Moore is one of several Rays players drawing strong trade interest around the majors, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old southpaw has put together five consecutive quality starts, and brings the allure of a solid lefty arm that is typically coveted by contending teams down the stretch and in the postseason. Moore has hit his stride over the last eight starts, lowering his ERA from 5.56 to 4.31 over that stretch. He's only generated a 4-3 record during that span, but has notably only received a combined five runs of support over the trio of defeats.

Moore (5-7) surrendered two earned runs on five hits and a walk over 7.1 innings in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles. He also recorded a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old southpaw posted his fourth consecutive quality start, turning in his longest outing of the season in the process. Moore has settled into a nice groove since late June, and demonstrated superior control while throwing only 93 pitches over his time on the mound. He could well be in a different uniform before month's end given the reported interest in him around the majors and if so, is building considerable momentum with his recent performances. Moore's next scheduled start is next Thursday versus the A's.

Moore (5-6) allowed four runs, two of which were earned, on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over six innings to take the loss Saturday at the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Moore gave up a pair of runs in both the fourth and fifth innings, and the Rays' offense failed to give him much support, leading to his sixth loss of the year. He's now held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six starts, and he has a 4.46 ERA on the season. He'll make his next start after the All-Star break.

Moore (5-5) gave up two earned runs on six hits and two walks over 6.2 innings in Monday's 4-2 victory over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The 27-year-old southpaw followed up his seven-inning shutout of the Red Sox in his previous start with another solid outing. Moore fired 74 of his 113 pitches for strikes, while notching first-pitch strikes on 20 of 30 hitters. The effort certainly didn't do anything to diminish Moore's trade value, and he'll likely continue to be the subject of rumors for a possible move for the next several weeks. He'll look to continue his stretch of strong performances when he takes the mound for a rematch with Boston next Saturday.

Moore remains unconcerned with the increasing amount of trade rumors surrounding him, freelance Rays writer Roger Mooney reports. "Obviously that's external," Moore said of the trade rumors. "There are things that are going on in our clubhouse that are on the forefront of my mind right now, and that's to get us back in a good place, which is to win more games than we're losing.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw will take next take the hill Monday afternoon against the Angels looking to even his season record at 5-5. The appearance figures to once again attract scouts from the Royals and Rangers at a minimum, two teams that have openly been considering Moore. The 26-year-old has three quality starts in his last four trips to the mound, including two shutout performances of seven innings apiece. Moore maintains he is not affected by the trade talk and isn't keeping tabs on any rumors, although friends and family are providing updates as needed. At least publicly, he maintains some skepticism that a move would even take place. "But for that other stuff, I still feel very comfortable where we are right now," he said. "I'm not really sure what's going on there, but I don't feel like anything is going to happen, to be honest with you."
